Yes, that does seem a lot more wonderful! I was going from the description from the GECK pages, but reality is often more messy when it comes to actual mods. How things ACTUALLY work as opposed to how they're described as working by Bethesda. 
In any case, my heart-felt thanks to Luthien and jazziparis for this. I always loved the idea of the Rock-it Launcher, but the reality often disappointed me. I think when the new TTW comes out, I'll try a run using just the Rock-it Launcher.
Thank you all for your hard and continued work on TTW over the years! I am so incredibly excited to explore the capital again with the release of this fantastic new version!

I want a RIL that launches NPCs. Imagine shooting your companions at Raiders... AWESOME!

Someone could make a mod where it places bodyparts on dead npcs, and when you take them they pop off like with NV bounty quests. Then you could load then in the launcher and shoot them with their friends.
I got this from Robbaz's Meat Factory Fallout 4 playthrough where he takes their bones after processing corpses and shoots them using the junkjet.
