I totally agrre with you, but

I totally agrre with you, but the point wasn't about the legal side :), i have read a lot on the nexus...

I am not English, so maybe i didn't get all the reasons but TTW was out of Bethesda's "cross-content rules", that's it?

I asked it to know more about the reasons that pushed them to do it so well. To me it's not almost a professional work, it is a professional work! A such work, freely available!  I know this is not of my business and i am not trying to convince anyone but i think everyone who want to play with TTW have to appreciate it's real value.

I was just curious, that's all. ;)

I am sorry if i misspelled  something, tell me if i did and i'll try to not do it again. :)

Yes, my first play through

Post by bigbobblehead » Sat Apr 06, 2013 5:48 pm

Yes, my first play through will be mod free. And I do appreciate all of the hard work everyone has put in to give their fellow fallout fans something so amazing as this. It certainly isn't easy to do.

Seriously? Your first post is bitching because its not out yet? For shame.

Really though, we have a private release out on the team forums and we are running into some issues. I'm sorry its a bit late but its coming along.

If you think that this mod

If you think that this mod has been delayed too long you haven't been following MISERY for STALKER CoP.

Take your time.  This is worth the wait to get it right.

Just out of curiosity are the install issues for people that are making a brand new fresh install of mod or is it just for people that had the 1.4 install and are having problems patching it with 2.0?    I was considering running the 1.4 version to get the tedious stuff out of the way since one of the posts said the new version would just patch over it but am I better off waiting for a clean install altogether?

Edit:  How come I keep getting those stupid captcha things all the time.  Do they go away after a certain number of posts?

Can i ask something to the team:

Do you know how many hours of work did you spent in TTW? :)

[/quote]

For you to have an idea, I joined the team around 6 months ago (TTW is older than that) and my main job is testing, I have tested TTW for 400+ hours I know this because when I got FNV for the first time I got TTW so I never really played it without TTW cheeky and steam tells me how many hours I spent playing the game angel.

Now if I am a tester and joined after TTW was already being made for a while, and the team is quite small, TTW was remade (not really sure but I think it was) 3 or 4 times by now, that makes me believe that everyone else has put at least 5 times more the time I have into it (but they are better at answering that than me).

Also for everyone that is sad about not having a friday release, I am sorry for it, but believe me when I say you wouldn't have wanted it like it is, just for you to have an idea it took me almost 1 day to be able to install it properly, and the team already found several bugs and is working non stop at fixing them, so you better be a bit more patient and be able to enjoy TTW in its full glory unless you want to spend all your time being killed by really though invisible super mutants (yes that is a reported bug, I am not making it up).

I just realized something I

I just realized something I have be like a lot people (impatience). But I may not download 2.0 right off the bat. If more update show up I may need to restart my game over. Most of the thing that are being fixed are just little bug and thing that help make modding better. I don't make many mods It dose really doesn't bother me. So take your time. When it comes out Ill just cheat my way back up were I'm at. But I like doing quest over.

I admit to that I'm waiting but I would have it playable and hopefully far better than 1.4, As for the invisible tough super mutants time to time I found these in all versions of TTW. I Never posted or brought up issues because I run a lot of mods. Figured that maybe one was conflicting or causing this issue. I also Normally play a stealth charter so I usually found them before they found me.

Yeah the DC SM are the same,

Post by JaxFirehart » Sun Apr 07, 2013 1:31 am

Yeah the DC SM are the same, difficulty wise, as the NV SM

For most creatures that made the transition from DC to NV their HP was cut down and they were given DT, but for the SM their HP was not cut down AND they were given DT.

So I'm faced with a choice. Leave it alone, making SMs a HUGE pain in the ass. Weaken the DC SM back down to a near-FO3 equivalent (but then why are NV SM so much stronger?). Or weaken BOTH NV and DC SM, which kinda goes against our goal of making TTW modify as little as possible in NV. Thoughts?

I say keep them hard, super

Post by Risewild » Sun Apr 07, 2013 1:40 am

I say keep them hard, super mutants in older fallout games were something that we would have to run from until we were quite though , but that is my opinion.

Edit:

Also maybe later we could have an optional file to have DC mutants easier and maybe other enemies too and call it Easy TTW mode or something lol.
