I've been playing Fallout 3 in TTW for a bit, and my mod list has been pretty barren due to all the mods that are incompatible. Which is fine, but I love adding tons of mods that once I move onto New Vegas I'll be going overboard as usual. My problem though is of course, most of the mods I'll be installing won't work in FO3 with TTW, and I kind of don't know how to have the game start up in the Mojave.
So, what are my options? My initial plan was to just finish as much of Fallout 3 as I want, then just uninstall it and TTW and just play New Vegas on it's own, however I very much enjoy revisiting games I like and I'm really digging 3, so it'd be nice if I could mod New Vegas on it's own without removing 3. I use MO2, and it has instances which seem like something on the right track, but I honestly have no idea if that's true. If instances are basically like separate profiles that don't affect others, when I finish 3 could I make an instance just for New Vegas, figure out how to start in the Mojave when making a new character, and then just switch back to the initial instance when I'm feeling like going back to 3?

If you use MO2 and installed TTW into a mod folder in MO2, you can just make another profile with it disabled and play vanilla NV (this is why I do so I can mod both games).

Yeah you could just make a new instances and then just mod the shit out of each instance to your liking. The beauty in Mod organizer 2 is that it keeps separate instances and digital copies of the mods solely used with that instance. This allows the user to access different instances of the same game with completely different mod configurations; assuming of course you do all your modding through Mod Organizer 2 and do not put mods directly into the data folder of FNV. vidmix for pc jiofi.local.html
