fix discovered for DC world map missing

I've read a few threads of people saying the world map for DC is completely blank, and only your character's directional arrow is shown on the world map screen. This thread is mainly for google searchers who hopefully end up finding this thread if they have this issue.

I recently made a mod that caused this, so I was able to look at it in a concise environment.

Some mods, when making references, are obligated to modify the form data of the DC worldspace (WRLD:0607EA1F).

If you open a mod you think is the culprit, check that form. In xEdit, you should see most data is either missing or wrong. Missing texture paths, the map scale being set to 0, coordinates being wrong, etc.

Simply set all this back to its default (should turn most if not all of it green again in xEdit) and the map should come back.

I'm new here so hopefully it's okay to put straight-up solutions in the "troubleshooting" section.

That should never happen, are you using TESnip?

No, but I did have to toss my plugin between xEdit for some setup and the GECK for compiling a script. It had to flag the worldspace as "edited" which got rid of most of the information like I talked about in the first post for whatever reason, but it is necessary given I placed a new object in the general worldspace.

As a wild-modder who likes to add favorite things into TTW, the life is a bit hard for that you cant get much help form office forum or discord.
