This is an image of an experiment in Tailor Maid.

How I did this (if you care):

create Armor-Add On versions of the pieces you want to use from Tailor Maid (use the nifs referenced in the armor item and choose the correct biped object).

once you have created the add-ons you want, create a FormList and add all the armor add-on pieces you made to it.

create a copy of the armor that you want to use it on.

change the Biped Model List in the armor to the FormList you created.

Proceed to enjoy.
