Jericho lip sync bug

Post by Panzermann11 » Sat Jul 17, 2021 11:32 am

I noticed when you ask Jericho to make a campfire, he doesn't move his mouth when he says "Yeah, sure." Could you guys check on this? Maybe make a fix and post it here?

Have you checked the change log? Most of the stuff you keep asking about was already fixed.

For now, I'm waiting for the next update so can you upload a hotfix?

Look, a simple LIP file should be fine enough.

Generate it yourself, we have more pressing matters than that.

GECK wiki has info on how to do it, you need the lip gen files from Skyrim Legacy Edition CKIT, and convert the .ogg back to .wav to generate it.

Look, we're busy trying to finish up 3.3 which has more pressing matters than one lip sync file from one NPC that doesn't look right (and in fact there's many and they will never look perfect). We're busy fixing much more critical bugs (crashing and performance issues), finishing weapon meshes, icons, addressing balance issues and many other things. Lip files are about as low priority as it gets. Please understand this.

It's OK. I already got the hang of it and I managed to include my own fix as part of my personal mod.

Kazo saw this thread, and it's been generated for next release. In final QA we'll make sure no others are missing.
