Installation Problems

I tried to reinstall TTW after a 2 year absence. I tried to install TTW v3.2.

I started from a clean install of FO3 GOTY and FONV with all DLCs. Both games were purchased from steam. The installer does not continue.

I am getting an error titled:

Archive "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data\CaravanPack - Main.bsa" doesnt exist for location: FNV CaravanPack - Main.bsa

I tried reinstalling, verifying integrity of game cache, and changing the location of the install. Has anyone encountered this error before, any idea how to fix it?

I did some searching for an unrelated problem and found many times problems with the launcher were solved after repeated attempts to run it. Maybe reboot and try it? Wish I had a solid answer for you, but if it works...

This might not be the problem you face but I had a problem where MO2 couldn't find all FO3 files.
This was due to installing TTW it without running FO3 successfully first (Because it doesn't run on Windows 10 in Vanilla).
I fixed it by doing;

Clean install of FO3 using this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTT9bkZytzI
Creating a save and subsequently .ini file

Installing Vegas
Creating a save and subsequently .ini file

Installing TTW into the FNV data folder

Launching FalloutNVlauncher.exe and setting graphical settings.

Using instance of 'TTW' click 'Run' button

Be patient while it loads (Different 'Please Stand By') and background pic available.

One note about installation: you don't actually HAVE to run the game and make a save. It is sufficient to run the launcher and set the graphics from the launcher. Running the launcher creates the registry entry needed, and setting the graphics creates the ini files needed. You can then exit the launcher without actually running the game(s).

Yeah, I like that part of the intro. It's an early chance to use VATS as well as your fists.

I had this problem, turns out I never did buy the Courier's Stash DLC... *facepalm*
