Belthan's Quo Vagis conversion to TTW 3.2

Post by xelntchance » Sun Dec 09, 2018 6:59 am

I received permission from Belthan to convert his mods for TTW 3.2. Also received permission from Arcturus7777 to use his original conversion for the old TTW. These guys did the heavy lifting and i can't say how much it is appreciated.

Mea Kulpa, Quo Vagis and Coito Ergo Sum by Belthan. A trilogy quest mod series bridging the Capitol wasteland and the Mojave. Tons of content, great characters and voice acting and a fun story. Its a particular favorite of mine. This is DLC sized content and quality. It does have an adult theme so if you are under 18 no peeking, leave the underwear tattoos on. I wouldn't want to corrupt any young souls out there.
For more information visit Belthan's nexus pages and endorse! Support your content pushers.

***Universal UV map female body texture v 1.1 (This mod is optional and not converted it hasn't effected my game adversely). https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/18690***

Coito Ergo Sum and its DLC content is on its way. I'm still bug chasing.

Everything seems to be working. Voiced NPC's, even in the DLC's the companions in the mod haven't been stalking in my testing. Fawkes seems to enjoy hanging out at Lolipopz DC,.... Let me know about any bugs you might find. My load order is very minimal right now specifically for conversion and testing.

Hey just wanted to let you know I have been playing with your conversions and so far smooth sailing, no issues to report. Thanks for doing that for the community, any news or updates on Coito Ergo Sum?

Glad to hear its working. Coito should be up in a day or so. Had some errors to to fix in it. There is one I haven't been able to track down though, its a deleted nav mesh and I'm buggered if I can find it.

Did you make sure the navmeshes were refinalized and any around rivet city or the jefferson memorial were redone if any?

Yes Rivet city and Jefferson memorial are fine. Coito ergo sum is actually an FNV mod that adds new world locations, companions and content. All the navmeshes for the new world spaces have been finalized and general error fixing. I did add the TTW masters to it though. the deleted navmesh is near Chances grave north of goodsprings. I just have to find the one.
The geck keeps crashing on me when I load the cell to compare it. I have a second geck open without crashing. Had to load TTW along with FNV.

Found the !@#!!@$%@%$^%^ triangle. finally its done.

Not really a FO3 version more a parts 1 and 2 of a trilogy across the games. DLC size and scope. Really well done and alot of fun.

It was supposed to continue in FO4 but probably won't.

Sweet, look forward to trying it when you post it. Finished Mea Kulpa and majority of Quo Vagis and still no issues that I have seen. Will let you know if I see any in Coito Ergo Sum. Also, to add on your point, to my knowledge Belthan has no plans on anything with Fallout 4 as he "was not a big fan" of that game. Although given how much it has improved with other community mods, it'd be nice to see if he will change his mind. Thanks again :)

I am finalizing navmeshes (again, lost some saved work) for Coito Ergo Sum. should be ready for upload soon. Ces does work fairly well unconverted; some npc voices don't work and some other things. Not really game breaking or anything. I just wanted to get all of the mod working and play around in the geck
Like Belthan I gave up on modding FO4 out of frustration. I made 3 quest mods that never got finished.(one involved family history and another lots of whisky). I like FO4 its just not good Fallout. The voiced protagonist is a huge pain, but the worst is the limits of your own character. You really cannot be or create/RP more than a generic Bethesda good guy hero. I felt that I wasn't playing my own character. I was playing a developers ideal.

I hear ya, one modder on his mod had the perfect quote for Fallout 4: "Great shooter, horrible RPG". So it kept me playing because I enjoyed the combat and building mechanics, but I hate the railroaded (unintentional pun) builds. Big one was how being evil, was essentially sold as the Nuka World dlc and even then you can't kill certain NPCs and the Minutemen are way too linked to the main story. However, Sim Settlements has been doing a ton of major work with the game and their new "dlc" is adding a lot of raider content into the game, so has me looking at Fallout 4 again.
