Question about SawyerBattyTTW and Point Lookout

I'm going to do a TTW playthrough with the SawyerBatty TTW mod (thinking of playing on Hard but might do Normal). I'm trying to decide where or not I want to install the Casual Point Lookout mod to remove the bonus damage that the Swampfolk deal with their shotguns. I want the extra difficulty and some degree of realism of the Jsawyer mod but I don't really like the idea of the magical extra damage that the Swampfolk do for basically no good reason, I know it can be really annoying playing Vanilla Fallout 3 and I can only imagine that it's even worse with the difficulty/health/whatever changes of the Jsawyer mod.

I'm just curious what the Point Lookout + SawyerBattyTTW experience is like, on Normal or Hard. I don't like installing/removing mods mid playthrough so I was hoping to hear about your experiences so I can decide if I want to install Casual Point Lookout or not from the beginning. I'm asking because I don't want the DLC to be too easy but I also don't want it to be too hard because of a completely arbitrary game mechanic.
