No songs in pipboy radio

Post by ZAZZ » Fri Dec 30, 2022 9:23 pm

Long story short, no songs from Pipboy radios play. Eden has his speeches in place, same for Threedog and dramas. Eyebots still play songs, though I think that before troubleshooting attempts they didn't. Radios and Jukeboxes don't play either. I'm at loss as to solution, I've tried to hunt down any codecs that might have been causing the trouble, but I've stripped them to factory reset and still no progress, audio quality is set to 48k Hz as I have seen somewhere. Vorbis libraries have been installed correctly and replaced manually for good measure, any third party media players uninstalled, sound set to stereo, songs are in place and play as prompted when selected manually. I'd appreciate any suggestions that could help

My load order:
FalloutNV.esm
DeadMoney.esm
HonestHearts.esm
OldWorldBlues.esm
LonesomeRoad.esm
GunRunnersArsenal.esm
Fallout3.esm
Anchorage.esm
ThePitt.esm
BrokenSteel.esm
PointLookout.esm
Zeta.esm
CaravanPack.esm
ClassicPack.esm
MercenaryPack.esm
TribalPack.esm
TaleOfTwoWastelands.esm
YUPTTW.esm

Win 11
EDIT:
Okay, problem solved it seems the cause was a codec coming from one of apps that we use for conferences in my job installed some codecs. Disabled them, now everything works like a charm

Yep codecs and codec packs are a known issue.
