Is the XP reduction still

Post by Kurt91 » Tue Mar 13, 2018 3:13 am

Is the XP reduction still going to be optional and we can turn it off? I know it would be overpowered (except for probably me with how badly I suck at these kinds of games), but I was kind of looking forward to doing a run from scratch using the "Limitless Stats" mod that came out recently. It adds a new set of perks, where each one takes a corresponding stat and converts any points over 100 to something else that's useful. For instance, the Repair perk makes it so for every 10 additional points, you get +1% of recovering bullet cases, and 1% decrease to the weapon degradation rate.

I thought that doing something like this would be fun, and while I might still want to slow down the XP gain eventually, just cutting it in half seems like a big swap. Could an incremental option be a choice? Like, 100%, 90%, 75%, 50%, and 25%.

About the installer, & sorry

Post by James_T_Quirk » Tue Mar 20, 2018 11:38 pm

About the installer, & sorry if I missed this elsewhere, but Talking Optional, how about a checkbox to allow installer to just do all rebuilds & Overwrites, so i can just tell it to do it, and stop asking questions ... My Machine does the lot in under 6 mins, if I hover over the checkboxes, but it interrupts over things running in system, I know slower PC may need the option, but that is all I ask, is a option ...

I bump versions sometimes with major updates. The newest version is what will be released.

I don't know, I don't use windows 10, you'd have to ask one of the testers who does.

I know GamerPoets has been given a build for testing purposes. If anyone he's the one to ask about potential compatibility issues.

It sucks about the loss of comments.

Not for this thread... 99.99% were "is it coming out soon?" :D

Where does the current

Where does the current version of the installer live? I did not see any commits on GitHub by Zilav on any branch of the TTW Installer. His profile only has a repository reserved for xeditscript from six years ago. Is it on another Git-based platform?

I don't know, you'd have to

I don't know, you'd have to ask him. It's not in C# so it wouldn't be in the old branch.
