What it means from what i can

Post by Sethoria123 » Tue Jan 02, 2018 9:26 pm

What it means from what i can gather, is that they can push out updates to ttw more easily then before without breaking any copyright laws and all that jazz, and in turn makes it simpler form them, and for us. As for modding the game, there will still be 16+steps for installing WMX, Awop, project neveda, texture mods etc :P but that is part and parcel of working with ttw!

If you can make diff files

If you can make diff files for the main files, you can make them for third-party mods as well. It's a matter of having a tool to make them for the devs, and a tool to apply them for the users, the latter being something the new installer may deal with, and the former being something the TTW devs already have.

Does this mean popular mods

Post by darious24555 » Thu Jan 04, 2018 2:25 am

Does this mean popular mods like PN, AWOP, WMX, etc can be patched into the game via the TTW installer? If so, Awesome!

Is it sad that every day when i get home from work, i kick off my shoe's boot up the PC and then immediately check to see if New California or TTW 3.0 has been released yet. Every single day.

Dude, I do the same thing too! I'm just hoping in vein when the update will finally get released!

P.S. Does anybody know how ready the installer is? Is it 25%, 50%, 75%, etc. Just wondering.
