And the last time I played Oldrim, I was using 254 plugins.... I know the last time I was playing Fallout 4, I was well over 300 plugins.

Wow! I hope you didn't uninstall it; I imagine it takes a long time to playtest for stability with that many mods.
It's on my old drive. I got a new drive and set up TTW, but haven't gotten around to the others yet. So I can still refer to it if needed, but it will be an all-new install.

I've kinda been putting it off since I want to update my computer. The issue is that the g-d d-mned crypto-currency miners are making it nearly impossible to build your own computer right now. For example, just TRY to get an RTX 3070 right now. Where cards actually are available, the prices are insane. :x So I've been waiting out the crypto-currency bubble... which looks close to bursting soon. Hopefully.

It doesn't help that TSMC is backed up like the Megaton toilets after chili night at the Brass Lantern. These chip fabs are really struggling to catch up right now.
Produces the programming equivalent of coffee stains.

Back on Topic:

In the Museum of Technology several terminals contain Log Entry 2077 01 03 -- which talks about a virus that got into the mainframe. This log entry ends with:
'...the infection has been removed... the soul of this machine has improved.'

I personally believe this is a reference to the song Archetype by Fear Factory which includes that phrase word for word.

Edit: Music video --> https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SeNTuWpTLVA
Running through MoT again and just checked one of the terminals. The virus-infected mainframe is also an *Archetype* Model FF06...

Yeah, prices have been off for a while. I brought a PNY GTX1650 4gb Gaming Edition(not the Super) last year on amazon. I was able get it for just under $150, after taxes and shipping. At that time, it was less than HALF the price of a Zotac 1050 SC 2gb which was selling for $400 at that time. I have that exact card, but it ain't worth $400 and any 1650 preforms much better. Strange.

I really want an RTX card, though(the 1650 is currently my best one). It'll probably be a year or so before I upgrade again though.

There a various objects in the Pitt, like engine blocks, broken tvs and fire hydrants that have stashes of supplies in them.

I thought that was stashes owned by that girl looking for Wild Bill?

Also considering total amount from those stashes, she's pretty rich. Even for a normal, let alone being a slave which she is.

Wow, the Pitt is my fav FO3 DLC. I it got on my 360 the day it dropped and I had no idea! Or maybe I did back then but forgot?

This is one new players might not know...

After your birthday party, the Overseer will walk out into the hallway and up the stairs. He stops to chat with Officer Kendall telling him he only went to the party because 'Amata is friends with the little brat'. He then tells Officer Kendall to wait a few minutes then shut the party down and clean it up.( Officer Kendall then walks down to the party and walks around. I don't think actually shuts it down though )

But wait! There's more....
SpoilerShow
The Overseer will then open the door Kendall was guarding and walk through, leaving it open. The door leads into 'void' ( the empty space surrounding the game world ).

You can follow; jump down and you'll land on top of the hallway you where just in, before heading up the stairs. If you turn to your left and run around the door sticking up there, you can make your way back to the area near your quarters(may require dropping down a second time?). There is spot near your quarters where you can fall through the roof you're standing on and land safely on the floor.

From here, you'll notice that sirens are flashing and the rad roachs are out - you just skipped forward in time! However, you're still 10 and can't fight back. Also, several NPCs are absent(running back into your room may force start some scripts, making them appear, but I didn't try). Runaway and continue moving forward and head into the Atrium. If you have Brisa installed, sadly, she won't be there. If you have TiesThatBinds however, Amanda will be locked up as usual. Wait for her to free herself then continue onwards. She will fight the radroachs for you.

When you get to the Overseer's office door, do a 180 and head into the Amata's room on your left. You'll find some Bobby pins in her dresser. Use them to pick the lock on the Overseer's door. From here you can activate the Overseer's tunnel and try to escape the Vault as a kid.... Only to be stopped dead in your tracks the next area.

When try to activate the switch that open the 'hidden door' leading into the Vault 101 main entrance area, you will receive a message in the corner of the screen informing you that 'Kids can't use that!'
( Edit: I just woke up and loaded up TTW. I loaded my auto save managed to get out of the Vault as a Kid using the console to activate the switch's and the Vault door. After the kidnap scene in TTB, I'm suddenly able to equip weapons and fight normally, haha! )

I don't *think* this is solely a PC / TTW glitch as I'm almost positive this is possible on the Xbox 360 version as well. I swear I remember doing it back in the day, but I'm *not* 100% positive.... It may just the Mandela effect, lol. I might dust off my Xbox 360 this weekend and confirm if it is indeed possible there too....

Note: I dont feel a pacifist no-kill ESCAPE! is necessary. I run mine with any hostile get killed. And when I get back in Troubled in Home Front, there's enough personels standing around~ Not crowded, but not sparse either.

So I feel all the possible loot you can get from ESCAPE! at the start of the game is more useful.

Also, if we can get Ol Graddy Peacemaker there, it is much more useful then than waaaaaay later in late game's Troubled... That would mean the very first unique, period, in the game you can put your paw on.
EDIT: after two low level run in both Mojave and Capital Wasteland, I feel that Ol Graddy Peacemaker is extreme unattractive. I dont really want to use it even if I make plan to use it.
Maybe if it's become something like anti-PA, anti-Robot, taser-like baton it would be more use in late game against PA and robots. Early game? I cant think of any improvement~

You can't fight back yet tho, cause you're still a kid. ^

Also...

I think getting Ol Grady's early is a good idea. :)
Y'know, because I play with both Brisa and TTB I have two followers during Escape! To make it harder, I made a mini mod that turns Chief Hannon into a something of a boss by bumping his lvl to 7, increasing his stats, and giving him a new unique Vault 101 Security Chief Armor and helmet. I could drop Ol Grady's Peacemaker into his inventory too...
======
Here's another one...
When Bethesda was developing FO3 there was originally going to be a 3rd radio station broadcasting from Tenpenny tower. It was suppose to play classical music and have a DJ similar to Three Dog who commented on your exploits( presumably he would've favored 'evil' quest outcomes ). Sadly, because of time constraints and the extra money it would cost to license more music it was scraped.

However, there are early placeholder DJ voice overs from this radio station in Fallout3 - Voices.bsa ( under maleuniquetenpenny\radiotenpe_... )

They're in ogg format tho, and I can't get em to play. I wonder if it's actually Tenpenny's voice or not... Winamp, where are you.

There's a FO3 mod that gives you Tenpenny Tower Radio:

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/7236/
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/23424 (fix for the first)

Of course, you'd need to convert this to use it with TTW, but you could still check it out in FO3.
