Re: Clothing and body mods
For a break from the body-mod fashion, you can duck into a pump room . if you could change your body as easily as you change your clothing.

Re: Clothing and body mods
Seems to be Type 4 era now.
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/67311 T4 Beloved Girls Race
It requires another mod called Megaton Hair by zzjay but you really just need the resources for that mod. The .esp modifies the african american race so remove it/disable/self patch.

Type 4 looks interesting, but I don't think it's compatible with clothing mods that weren't made for type 4.

Type 4 is generally compatible with type 3 clothing/armor mods.

Re: Clothing and body mods
If by incompatible meaning neck seams and or wrist gaps then you are right. The point of T4 is making it seamless and wearing other armors (T3m to T6M/Z) not designed for it makes it pointless although you can still use them.
Neck seams can be easily covered up (necklace and concealers) but wrist gap you could use a trick I use in FNVEDIT to add the "hands" designed for that particular clothing as a add-on.
Example:
T3m\T6m clothing - You will need to add T3m\T6m hands (femalelefthand.nif & femalerighthand.nif from the T3m\T6m Body Mods scattered around) as an addon on the BLPL -Biped List on that clothing. They will be treated as a glove when you wear that armor. If that armor was made properly, there should not be any wrist gap as they are of the same type.
There are exceptions for course, like Izumiko's Combat Uniform where there are no noticeable wrist gaps but neck seams.

I'm currently using spice of life, and neck chains. Maybe if I wasn't using spice I'd use t4, it looks like a wondrous development solving an old problem.
