TTW Realistic Wasteland Lighting

Post by RoyBatty » Fri Nov 21, 2014 7:06 am

You can find the official version on the New Vegas Nexus at the link below.

1 billion thanks to Sal203 for creating this wonderful mod and allowing me to convert the unreleased FO3 version and merge it with the FNV version for use with TTW.

Credits: Sal203 and xCamoLegend for the mods, Roy Batty for fixing the scripts and fixing the issue with the BoS bunker door in New Vegas, Yukichigai for the Fiend of the Night perk fix, and Jax Firehart for the Cateye script fix.

Be sure to visit the original mod pages on the nexus and download+endorse the mods in appreciation!

Use ONIX ENB for the ENB version which was specifically designed for use with RWL by xCamoLegend

http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55318

If you use ENB, you only need the ENB version, the ONIX ENB preset takes care of the Sun and Night.

The Reduced Sun versions are recommended if you use HDR lighting.

The DC Street (Intro Bus) patch helper is there if you want to use that mod in conjunction. It will fix the map marker placements and is easily merged into the RWL plugin of your choice with FNVEdit (It's only 2 records).

If you liked the original RWL's sun with the lens flare, it is an optional download. Install it after the version you choose and overwrite.

Installation is dead easy with this one, just pick which one you want and install it with your favorite mod manager.

PLACE THE MOD LAST IN YOUR LOAD ORDER, EVEN AFTER MERGE/BASH PATCH

Is this a conversion of the FO3 RWL on the nexus or a conversion of the new FO3 RWL she started a while back, which camo spoke about?

It's also much better than Fellout IMHO.

This mod was exactly what my TTW game was missing, thanks for the great job. This mod makes the game look better, and yet has had no noticeable impact on game performance. This synergizes very well indeed with NMCs and Poco Bueno texture packs, environment looks very nice now in proper lighting.

Quick question, is this for exterior world areas only, or will it also alter interior worldspaces?

Exteriors only, except places that are exposed to the outside like the DC train station, and the power plant.
