If you miss some things from Fallout 3 while playing TTW, then this is the place for you.
This post contains .msi files that will restore a few Fallout 3 things:
How to install these:
- Simply place any of these .msi files in the same folder as your TTW installer.
- Run the TTW installer as admin.
- In the installer window, choose the .msi file you want and press "Install".
- Make sure all the paths are set correctly and press "Install" again.
- Wait until it's done and then press "Exit" on the installer window.
- Just repeat steps 2 to 5 for each file you want to install.
- Now just use your mod manager to install the folder(s) created by the TTW installer, just like any other mod.
Important:
These files don't contain any FO3 assets, they tell the installer to use the files from your FO3 installation. So just like TTW itself, you need to have Fallout 3 installed for the installer to work and convert the FO3 animations.

This doesn't seem to include the 3rd person animation for weapons with 2handedautomatic animation sets. (aka assault rifle animations)
I'm positive assault rifle animations from Fo3 and NV are different, from simply standing still to running with weapons out. Am I mistaken?

It's movement anims, nothing else, you can't use the weapon anims from F3.

Sorry, I meant the 3rd person movement animations when you're holding the 2handautomatic weapons.
NV made a change to those animations if I'm not mistaken. Characters hold Assault Rifle differently depending on if you have Fallout 3 animations or NV animations. I tried replace them with the ones from Fallout 3 myself, but I just couldn't find any other animations other than the ones for standing still and crouching(=sneaking) still.

I see.
Well then, is there a way to replace the movement animations when you're holding 2handautomatic weapons with those from Fallout 3? I really prefer the way how actors move with automatic rifles in Fallout 3 rather than NV, but as I've mentioned, I just couldn't find the files for them in Fallout 3 archive; only the standing and crouching animations.

I apologize for the quasi necro, but would it be possible to provide something similar for all the splash, loading and main menu screens aswell? I think it would be really nice for those of us who want TTW to be as authenitc as possible to the Fallout 3 experience.
