Here's the opening cinematic

I can appreciate them using live actors, and it kind of works with the stock footage

The only thing I didn't like

Post by KeltecRFB » Tue May 27, 2014 3:40 pm

The only thing I didn't like about the beta update is that I lost my laser pulse rifle and my BAR I had just purchased ... :(    Other than that, it looks good.   I hope they develop the voice acting more.  SWTOR made me spoiled but then again, Bioware spent around $150 million (probably one of the reasons why they are now part of EA) on the game and W2 is going to be no where near that.

This is interesting and taken from Wikipedia ...

On April 24, it was confirmed that Obsidian developers would be working on the project.  And the current full release date is set for August 2014.

From what I understand from

From what I understand from the WL2 forums the laser weapons were removed for balancing and will be back soon. Just like the mini map and some other key features. I however am really enjoying the way weapon smitthing is shaping up and even the weapons mods themselves. I feel the game is very promising and with the release date announced I'm even more excited because this means Wasteland 2 modding is not far behind.

Yes there are a few bugs in the current build, the world map locations not popping up when you get to them and being forced to quit the game and reload an old save is a big one but I'm sure it is a priority fix. Also the game needs a lot of optimization but you do that last or you do it several times.

EDIT: InXile released a hotfix today that fixes the world map but yes

I see there is another update

I see there is another update, I haven't had a chance to play since the last update.  Once I can, I may have to back load a save.
