Fallout Tactics

Post by fear_town » Tue May 07, 2019 8:38 am

Since this was a blank board, I couldn't resist.

I didn't really like the game, and I didn't play it for long. I can't offer any justification on that as it's been a very long time since I tried it.

Thoughts or opinions?

I think the combat is a major improvement over F1/2, and I wish those two games had the real time combat. The story is interesting and the expanded weapon pool is also pretty cool. It's not much of an RPG, but many choices do affect the outcome.

Good story and expanded weapon pool sounds like a reason to dust it off and give it a second chance. I might have been too obsessed with the combat being too different from F1/2 to actually give it a chance.

Thank you for your words Roy, might as well try tactics til I can remember where I stored my F03 discs or until I break down and buy it off GoG, or Steam if GoG gives me shit about it being a European company again. My bank didn't like that very much me being in America; this was when GoG was brand newish though, so maybe that's changed.

Yeah I've not had any issues with GoG for along time payment wise.
