Tale of Two Wastelands

I started work in D.C. a few months after 9-11-2001 and there was a lot of hysteria still in the air with the subsequent anthrax mailings, development of 'homeland security', the 'patriot act', and no doubt fueled by posters like the one below appearing at public transit stations, now appearing shamelessly on my wall at work :).  MARC is the Maryland Rail Commuter system into DC if you didn't know.

Imagine my surprise when I saw an altered version of it appear on the TTW loading screens.  Maybe some of you haven't watched the complete cycle of images, it's there, but not as "Watch, Ride and Report"

I also found a site saying the MARC poster is fake. May or may not be accurate. (http://hoaxes.org/weblog/comments/suspicious_marc_poster)

So three options:

A) Obsidian and MARC both bought the same creepy authoritarian stock art.

B) Obsidian and whoever made the hoax bought the same creepy authoritarian stock art.

C) Obsidian stole the art from MARC and/or the hoax perpetrator. 

In my kindergarten, ones report card contained three checkboxes:
Excellent Student
Good Student
Average Student

Excellent means "nice job". Good means average. Average means "you suck".

Yeah my school didnt sugarcoat things at all...
