I recently downloaded TTW for the first time after watching Gophers new videos. After following the installation guide and the video on UI mods I decided to download some mods myself.
I've managed to get Project Nevada and Solid Project running smoothly, despite people saying those mods aren't very stable. Plus various UI and performance mods.
Do I risk modding more? If so what would you recommend?
How many mods have you got running on TTW and which are your favourite?

anything with TTW tag on nexusmods. that and maybe some replacers for body, pipboy, UI, and overall QOL mods like Just Assorted Mods (JAM)

You can have a ton of mods running with TTW, but you need to be very careful that they do not override important data, especially scripts or dialogues and quests with embedded scripts. That could break your game.
I'm using Project Nevada too, but I had to make some changes to it, to make it compatible with TTW and fix some annoying bugs. Well, most of the mods I use, have seen some changes and more or less bug fixing.
What could I recommend, that doesn't need a lot of patching first?

- One HUD for a clean customized HUD
- Universal Pip-Boy Customization if you want to hide that Pip-Boy or use a handheld version
- Just Loot Menu for easier looting
- JIP Companion Command and Control for easier companion management
- JIP Minimap for that always on map of your surroundings
- B42 Inspect - animated weapon inspection
- Armed to the Teeth Redux if you want to show the weapons you're carrying
- Bleed TTW if you want a little more challenge
- TTW A World of Pain for FO3 - lots of new dungeons with tough enemies in DC
- A World of Pain - lots of new dungeons with tough enemies in NV
- TTW Essential Caravan Merchants - so they don't die all the time
- TTW 3.3 - Alton, IL - new game world, just like a DLC
- Willow - one of the best companion mods
- Underground Hideout New Vegas - one of the best player homes in New Vegas
- TTW - Springvale Garage - I haven't used it yet, but it looks like a well done player home

Hi there! Sorry to be a bother, but since you mentioned the Willow and Alton, IL mods, I thought I'd take a shot... So far, I've not added much beyond what's in the Wasteland Survival Guide, but I was looking at that mod, and thought they looked pretty interesting. Where do you have them in your load order?Bullfrog wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 8:22 amYou can have a ton of mods running with TTW, but you need to be very careful that they do not override important data, especially scripts or dialogues and quests with embedded scripts. Willow doesn't really matter. It only depends on New Vegas, so load it anywhere after the TTW files.
Alton depends on TTW, so also load it after the TTW files.

Ties that Bind is one of the best F3 Companion mods I have played. I'm hoping when it gets updated to 3.3, I can run it with Brisa and Amata
I tried putting a image of Joshua Graham saying "We cant expect God to do all the work" with glowing eyes here but idk how to do html so pretend that this is here lmao.
