Generating LOD in TTW

If you want to generate LOD in TTW follow this simple guide.

You'll need to copy the sArchiveList to your Fallout.ini either in Mod Organizer 1 or 2 or in the base game folder if you are not using Mod Organizer. You should leave out the archiveinvalidation.bsa from the list, it's important to make sure Fallout - Meshes2.bsa is present

When you then generate LOD in LODGen you need to set the atlas size to minimum 4096 * 4096 for the main wastelands, if you use additional LOD packs you should probably increase it to 8192*8192

If you use NMC's texture pack, you'll need to the NMC LOD textures from the FNVLODGen nexus page.

LOD should generate fine for all worldspaces now.


TreeLOD does not work in NV, do NOT generate. Trees use the ObjectLOD (and have meshes for it) in New Vegas and DC.

There is no need to generate terrain LOD, it is already good and optimized, if you do you will lose the hand painted areas because they were not included with the game.
