There's a mod for Fallout 3 https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods ... escription which changes Earth's texture in the Zeta DLC.
A comment says it's also compatible with TTW but no idea how to install, as FNV has no texture folder in FNV/Data.
It is one file, any idea if it's possible to make work with TTW?
Is there a way to get this to work with TTW?

Just install it using your mod manager. Do not drop it in your game's Data folder.

Ok that's great. I tried installing Mothership Zeta Retexture from here (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/8260?tab=posts) using MO2 but it didn't actually change any textures, is there anything else I need to do seeing as it's a FO3 mod originally?

That mod is packed in a different way. So you'll have to do some work on MO2.tigolbitties wrote: ↑Wed Feb 01, 2023 9:42 pmOk that's great. I don't know how well you know how to use MO2, so I will post some instructions:
SpoilerShow
1st, you go to your MO2 Downloads tab on the right-side panel (assuming you downloaded using the mod manager option on Nexus):

2nd, you double-click (or right-click and choose "Install") on the archive file on the list, and you'll get a message about it looking like a BAIN installer. Just pick "No":

3rd, you should get a little tutorial in the form of messages at the bottom of a small window. I didn't get that because it's not my first time doing this. So you will notice that the window has all the files as they are inside the mod archive and a red message at the bottom will tell you that "The content of <data> does not seem valid" (because it's not, and this is what's preventing it from working):

4th, you should untick all the junk, so MO2 doesn't install those files in its virtual folder. Leave only the "Open This" ticked, if you also want the optional "Abomination_Heartbeat" meshes, then you need to keep that one ticked too (I don't know if these meshes are compatible with TTW or not, so caution should be advised when using FO3 mod meshes):

5th, you now need to expand the "Open This" directory by clicking on the small triangle on the left side of it. Do the same for the "Abomination_Heartbeat" if you want that one too:

6th, now you need to click and hold on the "textures" directory (under the "Open This") and drag it on top of the <data> directory (this will make MO2 install the textures folder on the base data folder):

7th, if all went well, you'll notice that the red warning message on the bottom will change to a green one. This means that the mod should now install correctly:

8th, do the same drag and drop for the "meshes" directory (under the "Abomination_Heartbeat") into the <data> directory if you want that optional too:

9th, if all went well, it should look like this (if you also installed the optional abomination meshes), if you did not pick the optional, it should only have the "textures" directory there. Now you just press "OK":

10th, it should start unpacking the mod after you pressed "OK". Then after it's finished all you have to do is install the mod into your game. To do that you just tick it on MO2's left panel, after that you should be good to go:

Just wow. Literal step-by-step instructions, you are definitely one of a kind. Thank you so much, I got it working! Seriously, thanks for taking the time to do that.Risewild wrote: ↑Thu Feb 02, 2023 2:19 amThat mod is packed in a different way.
