Tale of Two Wastelands

I've been modding Bethesda games for a little while now - I avoid the more involved stuff, but I can handle the basics. I usually use a modding guide to mod my games just to make sure I get the best experience I can, but the only guides I can find for TTW are years out of date. Is there a guide I can use to make sure I get the best experience out of TTW?

If not, could I get some advice on making the game look pretty and adding minor gameplay enhancements like backpacks?
