Game cant find save files

I accidentally opened up the fallout launcher on steam instead of booting it up from my mod manager that uses the script extender and now the game cant see any of my saves. I looked in the document folder where they are stored and they are all still there but the when in the game itself, it says that there is no valid game data and that there are no saves to load from. Any ideas?

Just ran into the same issue while trying to get borderless window set up. I opened the Launcher to switch on windowed mode, then after launching nvse and getting to the main menu, I noticed my saves were gone. I was able to get them to appear again after redeploying my mods through Vortex. I think it has something to do with one of the ini's being modified by the launcher, but I have no idea with what mod specifically fixes the issue in the process.

I was having the same exact issue after reinstalling TYPE4 - Body and Armors - T4- Main. For some reason it was creating a file in my Saves folder called "1IBWjzwfM". All I had to do was move all the save files to that folder and I was able to load them.
