Should I update?
So I'm pretty new to modding, my friend set up TTW on my computer a while ago, version 2.9 I think, should I update to the newer version, it seems like a lot of work but is it worth it?

If you plan to keep playing and old save to finish that playthrough, don't. You can't use old saves with the new version.
If not, delete everything, do a clean install and install the new version.
