Glitch: NPCs and enemies running all over (light spoilers)

They're running in every direction except the one they're actually supposed to.
I've encountered this problem mainly with enemy types but also with mission-related NPCs. I didn't care too much up until the first Behemoth battle,
what a fucking mess- he kept running back and forth to where he came from and the brotherhood were nowhere in sight.
Now I try to do that wasteland survival guide mission with the mirelurks but they just keep changing between standing still, running into the water and charging at me (provided I stand still).

You have incompatible mods, please read the FAQ.

Resolving conflicts with mods is something you'll have to take care of for your own load order. Use FNVEdit to do this, there is a wiki for it with all the information you need.

I see Alton in your load order, you do realize that unconverted Fallout 3 mods will completely break TTW. As I said, read the FAQ.

Hm, this issue sounds familiar, it seems to have been popping up for me on-and-off for a while. Does anyone have a lead on where I should start to rectify this in FNVedit?

It's caused by any unconverted Fallout 3 mod with edits to the wasteland because it uses formid 3c which causes the game to go haywire.

Huh, odd. I tend to be a little unscrupulous with my installation but I didn't think I was as reckless as installing unconverted Fallout 3 mods... To add to that, I've seen NPCs have difficulty navigating in places besides the Capital Wasteland, like the Mojave and in Honest Hearts. I wonder if I made a bigger mistake than installing a mod not converted for TTW if I'm seeing the issue outside of worldspaces from Fallout 3.

In any case, I'll start leafing through the Form IDs of the worldspaces for that 3c bit and hopefully find a lead.
