Fallout 3 start bug and interface overlapping

So I'm trying to play fallout new vegas again and I chose the fallout 3 start, and I'm at the part where I turn 10. For some reason andy won't cut the cake, but amata says her line as she should. Another issue I have is a bunch of interfaces are overlapping each other and I can't seem to figure out why.

Delete everything, and follow the guide to the letter. You have old mods in your data folder.
