( Info Needed ) Scopes

so starting a new playthough going with a guns build more rifles and Snipers

I kinda think someone need to update the mods that changes the scopes I really wish a update could be added so if you add a scope to a already scope weapon it will change it into a nigh vision scope.

Can someone tells me what are the ways the game tells you if the weapon your using has a nigh vision scope.

And does anyone know of any scope replacers that they like. I really love the Frontier a lot of detail when into the scopes and long range weapons ....im thinking next year i might get into that mod again because i hear their kinda re making the mod from the ground up.

Now i have learned that their are files that can be replace to change the scopes but what if i wanted to find maybe like a scope with a red dot sight reticle to use rather then the useless scope that is used for snipers how would one convert that??

Scope night vision is defined by weapon flag "Scope has night vision". See GECK Wiki for these secondary weapon flags.

Scope night vision could be toggled via scripting. It could be done with a hotkey for example. Or it could be added/removed depending on a certain mod that is installed on the weapon.

The reticle of the scope is defined by the scope model of the weapon. If you want a different reticle, just change it to something you like. Many weapon mods on the Nexus bring their own reticles, so there is a lot to choose from.

Can we get step by step guide on how to change the scope reticle manuanally please I found a lovely pic of a reticle and I want to replace it for scopes on a few vanilla and modded weapons but i use MO2 soooo err finding the file file pathway can be hard >W<
