TTW 3.2. How do I go to New Vegas?

Post by KeyC0de » Sun Feb 23, 2020 1:17 am

I have TTW 3.2. I've read the guide here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... =456029186

I reach Unity station. I get the quest, then there are some circuit breakers which I have to activate. I have pressed 3 of them, each one I press I get the message "There is no power". Then I can't get through the doors. It's still saying "You have to turn on the power". Also the quest marker tells me to go somewhere... and in that place is nothing. There is something I am missing and I can't find it. What do I have to do? Thanks.

You have to do what it says, turn the power back on. You have to go down to the reactor room and fire it up. Keep exploring, you'll find it.

If you're really stuck, get Stewies Tweaks from the nexus. It has (among other things) an option to display whether the quest marker is above or below you on the HUD. That would tell you whether to go up or down to get to where the current marker is pointing.

I'm having the same issue.
There's a door in the same area It wont register and I cant open it to get to the power supply.

IIRC, the time when I played that quest, 4 circuit breakers in 4 corner of the map, they are sharing same characteristics: in an elevated platform and in 4 corners. Checking your map to see if there's another you missed.

Aaaaaanyway, if you already had pressed 3, with the last can you not use the command (activate that quest and type) movetoqt ???

Some of the switches require you to go into the building through unlocked doors and find another door that leads outside where the switch is. It can be a bit of a puzzle, but you CAN reach ALL of the switches via the doors that are accessible.

Its problem is too little opposition, and rooting through the ruins is not my idea of fun.

After doing three switches, which is to allow no error to movetoqt, I just did the console~

Columbus station really should have been Talons possessing~ with both genders. Muties hold it is too boring~

We'll address the quest design there later to make it more fun and less of a chore. We planned on adding three dungeons or so the area as well.

I will note that the "ruins thematic" doesnt work for train station, both in Capital Wasteland and Mojave.

Oh, it can works on neighboring cells, if that really what you set your heart on.

But on the cell that contain the train object, the tracks, and maybe the ticket-selling location I would suggest that you remove all the rubbles. The why is a long article I doubt you want to read now, though at half of a gesture from you I will push out that wall of text.

But in a short sentence, please dont leave rubbles, rusts, wrecked train, ruined tracks in the same room with our main objective, which is the Two-Wasteland Train.
