A Special Thank You

Post by Awestriker007 » Mon Jan 30, 2023 2:26 am

Being as of this post, twelve hours into my TTW playthrough and about to hit Level 20(Having finally learned to read and followed the instructions in the Wasteland Survival Guide, adding as needed before I went and added the rest of the mods I wanted), I figured I'd take a break from playing to give a very very special thank you to the TTW developer team.

Having grown up playing Fallout 3, I was surprised that someone made a mod that allowed it to be played in New Vegas, hearing about the mod at first through the Storyteller youtube series, and after some mishaps and a proper installation, I'm just... blown away. I have no clue whatever black magic fuckery you guys pulled off to get the entirety of FO3, its DLC, tons of cut content and bug fixes into New Vegas without either game imploding on itself(for the most part, on occassion I crash leaving cells and even then on a loaded save it fixes itself right up), but I'm legitimately amazed. And even then, the amount of coding and such that had to be done to make both games play as a hybrid of each other and be balanced(not that I care for that in particular, preferring to just go ham, but still I cant imagine the sleepless nights there), its just... wow.

Again, I want to thank each and every last member of the Dev Team, the QA testers, and everyone who worked on this mod. Now... I should probably go and find dear old dad... though maybe after a few more side quests and dlc content(I'm sure you all can relate.)
I tried putting a image of Joshua Graham saying "We cant expect God to do all the work" with glowing eyes here but idk how to do html so pretend that this is here lmao.

Why did you decide to stop playing?
