Strange, whenever I get near

Strange, whenever I get near the Citadel (not inside), I almost always get a sand storm.  The ratio of occurrence is astoundingly high in that area, the game also reverts to a green tint like in the vanilla game.  Anybody else getting this?

The other issue I noticed is that with when you blow up Megaton, the area around Megaton is not afflicted with that hazy, darkish fog that is presumably there to represent the fallout from the explosion. Normally in vanilla, that fallout effect is present, but with Nevada skies, that effect is absent. Perhaps it's done on purpose so that the clear skies are still around, but it seems almost awkward that a nuclear ground zero having absolutely clear skies right after immediate detonation.

 

Other than that, I'm seeing lots of color, and proper weather implementation in other areas, so it's working as intended for everything else.

I, too, had the issue with

I, too, had the issue with the blackout in Tranquility Lane..  however, I ran around in the the dark for a minute and then used console command "coc TLAbandonedHouse" and it took me straight into the abandoned house.  While in the abandoned house, I was able to see everything like normal.  I activated the "Chinese Failsafe" and went back outside to talk to Betty and again, it was blackened outside.  I just used my compass to navigate to Betty and exit through the door to Vault 112.

Also, before I reinstalled TTW since I couldn't correct the issue.. and not sure if it's Nevada Skies related or not.. but after taking the train to FNV/Mojave, I see a whitened screen similar to the "9 years later" screen without the text.. showing in upper left different things that are loaded.. and then just sits there.  No ceiling fan, no Doc Mitchell talking, nothing.  If I do a console command to "setstage 00104c1c 0" (Ain't That a Kick in the Head Quest).. I get the character generation, then after confirming that I want this to be my character, it takes me to a black screen just like Tranquility Lane.  I can move, see compass, hear music, etc.. just can't see anything but blackness.  Again, I dunno if it's Nevada Skies related, but it has a similar bug as it creates in TL.

By the way.. your conversion of this mod has been near perfect!!  Much kudos and thanks for sharing your conversion of this mod!  I love the effects, the ability to change the effects on click, etc..  This definitely aids in making the FO3 portion... more.. um.. interesting!.. haven't gone to Mojave yet since I started a new game with the reinstallation of TTW.  I did try, at first, though.. to load my game save after taking the train to Mojave and still had the blackened experience after having to use the coc command.

If this mod is still being supported, I have run across a strange issue where DLC interiors have black "curtains" across cell thresholds, that AI can see you through, but from your perspective, the cells seemed to have not loaded at all

I know this was also an issue with TTW fixes, so I was wondering if the next iteration could address this issue

the latest version (v1.04) fixes this, it was 1.02 that had the issue

Still having that black

Still having that black screen problem in tranquility lane. Just updated.

 

Finally fixed it last night. Unless NMM mixed up 1.4.1 with 1.4; The newest TTW version of NSkies still doesn't incorporate what BulletSponge fixed. I changed my 1.4.1 install to match the fix as recommended by TJ.

Can you please update the

Can you please update the installer at FNV Nexus with the nevadaskies_-_ttw_edition.esp from https://taleoftwowastelands.com/comment/28535#comment-28535? It seems silly to have a fix that works and not have it in the installer... It just means people have to search for a fix and if they fail to find it then have to post a help request, to which then someone has to reply to send them to the fixed file. Could you at least note in the known bugs section of the Nexus page there is a TTW update that people have to manually grab for themselves and a link?

EDIT: The file from https://taleoftwowastelands.com/comment/28535#comment-28535 does not fix the problem in TTW 2.7.3 for me, so there's something else going on.

I guess that rules that out then. Maybe an updated version to the downloads section to Nexus, then?

For now I'm just disabling Nevada Skies altogether whenever I have to return to the Citadel, so it's not game breaking, just annoying.

I managed to fix the issue by converting the land data back to Fallout 3's vanilla version. So far, it worked for me. Make sure you rename it like in the description so you can replace the esp plugin.

You just can not post links but you can still post about TTW.  This is why there are TTW mods still on the Nexus and mods that have TTW support.  Yoss is just missing in action for whatever reason.

Quick question, I git everything working for me, but it seems like pitch black nights only work in Vegas, but not in the capital. Is there a quick fix I am not aware of, or is this rather uncommon usage practise?

while I love this mod and the different weather effects particularly rain and thunder storms I just can't use it anymore I've had so many places implode on me and get errors in them that are apparently related to this mod that no matter how much I love it it effects gameplay in a negative way :(  Its a shame there doesn't seem to be any simpler weather mods out there

A few areas still need to be have Nevada skies features added. Megaton and Paradise falls still have default skies and the green filter.

Nevada Skies doesn't seem to

Nevada Skies doesn't seem to work in Point Lookout. I go there and turn on the hydrograph, but the moods aren't available and weather won't shuffle.

The New Vegas version of

The New Vegas version of Nevada Skies worked great for me but for some reason none of the configuration options work for me in the TTW version.  When I had that issue with the New Vegas version it was because I forgot to make sure it was at the bottom of my load order but that doesn't fix my problem in TTW.  It does randomly cycle through various types of weather in TTW.  The problem is the radiation storms go on for an excessively long period of time and I can't turn them off.  I thought maybe it was just a DC area thing so I tried starting in the Mojave but same issue there.  Are other people able to add different weather types to the cycle, turn storms on and off, etc in the TTW version?

The last time I used this mod a few months ago it worked fine. I used the version from the Nexus along with the Citadel Fix file posted here with no real issues to speak of so it should work ok for you. Very odd that it isn't. Are both the esm and esp files located at the bottom of their respective lists?

Ahh I didn't think to check the ESMs, those were in whatever order LOOT put them in.  I'll try reinstalling and make sure the ESM is also at the bottom, thanks.

Ah, I didn't know that. I always kept them both at the bottom, the esm at the bottom of the esm's and the esp and TTW patches at the bottom of the esp's. Either way it was working for me before I got rid of it for RWLE.

Not sure why it wasn't working for me before but the TTW version works fine for me now.  Great mod.

(edit: now that I think about it I'm wondering if I may have had it broken before by moving all that stuff MO puts in the override folder into the mod I had at the bottom (this mod).  I don't do that anymore and I removed and reinstalled this mod when I stopped doing that so that may have fixed it for me.  I think I have a mild case of OCD, that little warning MO gives you about stuff being in the override folder annoys me.  It's taken an effort for me to force myself to just ignore it.)

I think I figured out why

I think I figured out why this mod works for me sometimes and other times doesn't without me having made any changes to my mods, load order, or mod assets between a working and non working game.  My previous game it worked fine.  This game it was back to not working again.  And by not working I just mean when I open up the menu for it, mood, rain, and storms are not in the menu anywhere.  I exited the game, opened up Mod Organizer, and deleted all of the files except my merge patch in the override folder.  Restarted the game and presto, Nevada Skies works fine now.

My guess would be that maybe UIO can mess up the menu for Nevada Skies if you don't delete the override files between play sessions but that's just a guess.
