I'm having a similar problem to Sivboi: On the map screen the quest markers, player marker, and follower markers are all tiny. All the other markers are as they should be. The crosshairs are also tiny but I honestly don't care either way about that.

So the proposed solution was to delete texatlas from the textures folder, but I can't find it. It's not in Darnified_UI-15-20190716\textures, nor in Fallout New Vegas\Data\textures. I even ran a whole computer search and nothing came up. I always have "view hidden items" checked so I know it's not that. I also reinstalled to mod using the version linked to in this thread, but still can't find it.

The last mod that got cut off is my merged patch made in FNVedit. DUI was the first mod I added after getting TTW running (using The Best of Times, I'm certain I followed that guide to the letter) and the issue came up immediately, so it should have nothing to do with Mojave Arsenal or MCM.

Lastly something that's probably not useful but may be of interest: The affected markers and crosshairs were all a few pixels to the left of centre at the start. This was most noticeable when using scoped weapons and ironsights. When I got rid of interfaceshared0.dds in the DUI textures folder though it all moved back to where it should be.

While I definitely prefer the visual style of Darnified UI, Vanilla UI+ has always had better quality of life features that I can't play without now -Specifically menu navigation and how Darn sticks closely to the vanilla key configs and has some strange layout choices where VUI+ focuses on legibility and versatility. If you're looking for a UI that's better at 2k+ screen resolutions go for Darnified, but if you've used VUI+ in the past it's probably spoiled you forever and you'll likely end up sticking with it.

Hi,

I’m getting this issue SavesSLocalMasterPath=DatabDisableDuplicateReferenceCheck=1 in my save folder which seems to be an issue with saving an DarnUI. At first I was having issues with the start menu xml, but was able to get the darnui not in start menu to go away.

The real issue is that I am unable to save anything, and all saves are listed as corrupted. I cannot log anything or save anything and instead of saving saves in my regular saves folder it is saving a folder labeled SavesSLocalMasterPath=DatabDisableDuplicateReferenceCheck=1 and then making copy of my save in the fnv document directory instead of saved games.

I am currently trying to start in the capital wasteland and don’t remember having this issue in 3.2 last time I installed all this with darn.

Sorry if this is a dumb question and I feel like the fix is right in front of me but I’m at a loss. Any help extremely appreciated.

Getting some weird wrapping issues on message boxes using darn.

Padding seems to be messed up too

Res 2560 x 1600, no overrides to the messagebox xml, other than this mod. Pretty strange

The wrap bugging is something that's rare and don't know why it happens.

Hello there,

I've started up a new game with DarNified UI, along with a slew of other mods, and I've run into the problem of having no subtitles outside of regular dialogue, no text in the quest updates that pop up (only the squares that show me that there are quest updates at all), and no nameplates beneath the person I have the option to talk to. When I disable the mod in my mod manager, it *does* fix all of the above issues, but now all the text in the menus is squished together and barely readable. I'd like to do a full removal of DarNified to continue testing this error, but I cannot find proper uninstall directions, can you assist me in removing DarNified?

As another note, it MAY be tied to One Hud, the errors started after I used Gopher's new collection https://next.nexusmods.com/newvegas/col ... q?tab=mods, but I am not entirely sure.

If you're using MO2 you can't go by Gopher's guide religiously. I encountered some issues in the install order/left pane arrangement and experimented with the order to get things to work right. Everything related to Darn works perfectly for me now (though I have added some things on top of it). Here is the order I have my UI mods in and they seem to work:
The only relevant ones for you are probably 0036 - 0042, I just listed the others in case you saw mods you didn't want to use that solved the issues you were having. Also, I have OneHud installed but I don't use it to move the hud elements around as I consider it easier to directly edit the Darn xml's to get a result that is persistent across all characters I make (The "Darn Custom" mod is my UI layout).
