TTW Point Lookout Reborn

Point Lookout Reborn is a great mod which adds content and promotes exploration.

Here you have a nice conversion of it for TTW, many thanks to jcro25 for the hard work he puts into it and for allowing me to convert it for TTW.

You will need the meshes and textures from the original mod, simply replace the .esm with the one provided here.

Yes, this is the current 2.2 version. He may upload a 2.3 today, I found a bug in one of the scripts and notified him of it.

I would gather that would be the only change though.

I guess he did NOT upload 2.3 back in August. Is the scripting error something that you've fixed/circumvented in the TTW thing or something that would require further action on our, the installer, part?

I have an overriding urge to monolog the tears in the rain soliloquy after getting this to run as smoothly as it is after Roy got his mitts on it. Especially now that PLR is as far as I can make out bug free from it's initial incarnation. 

Killer mod. A murder of a conversion. 10/10.

As much as I would like to

As much as I would like to run this, I keep getting a no menu bug with this mod. However, considering my extensive active LO and that I just got everything else running perfectly I don't feel like much more troubleshooting right now. If you know of an easy fix I am all ears.

I've been a part of the community since Morrowind. I just don't say much.

On an unrelated note...

Do you think infants enjoy infancy as much as adults enjoy adultery?

That's why I was confused, because it shouldn't affect the Anchorage Memorial. I have TTW, Project Nevada, and Ghost People Perception Fix. So the only large mod I have besides TTW is PN, and I'm pretty sure that's not hitting the mod cap.

I'm just going to enable PLR when I start Point Lookout, but I wanted to let you know.

if you are positive it is PLR, it could be a mesh override, but then you would just get errors, not missing parts altogether, how many mods do you ahve installed?

Did you speak to her at the Cathedral? She wont return to the boat unless you've spoken to her.

Disabling mods does not uninstall their assets. Sounds like PN is overwriting the hunting shotgun mesh/textures or something else is.

looking forward to it, it seems he released 2.4 in december, it looks great! Point Lookout was one of my all time favorite DLC's for FO3. It's been many years since I looked into FO3 mods and I'm simply shocked to see that someone has actually managed to IMPROVE what I thought to be the best DLC in the game. (Next to the pit of course.)

The texture issues are

The texture issues are another mod, PLR doesn't modify the weapons.

I'll look into the floating boards, I've already encountered that.

Please be aware that I convert things "as is" mostly and I don't alter the original authors mod unless it's a glaring obvious bug. If something is intended sometimes I do not know and I'm not going to pester them with it.

If any suggestions are "please add this" or "change this because I don't like it" then the answer will always be no so please don't ask.

@Rudy The mod doesn't touch the planks at all, so no clue what the issue could be with them yet. Not caused by PLR. It's been reported to happen with vanilla too.

Played through that section a few times, never had that bug.

 

Also, this mod makes Point Lookout, which was already one of the better FO3 DLC, even MORE fun, thanks for the hard work you put into making this TTW friendly! :)

Gettin' some of the dummied
Gettin' some of the dummied out ammo in the motel. There's a dead guy in the maintenance tunnels that has a shotgun shell, and one of the ammo boxes in the room that has a bunch (can't remember number) had .32. I'll be making a personal patch that changes every instance of this happening that I find. Also, is it a vanilla TTW bug with double barrels being dropped with 20ga? Things aren't firing them because they don't have the right ammo. Other than those issues, though, I'm loving this.

And like, other stuff, I guess.

It's not that difficult.

It's not that difficult. Download the original mod,put the textures and meshes from it into the data folder for New Vegas and then use the esm Roybatty has provided. But from that picture it looks like you didnt activate ArchiveInvalidation.

Hello there,

Hello there,

got a problem with the LOD in Point Lookout Reborn. If I distance myself from the city, a square above the big wheel which looks like that appears:

I attached my load order to this post but I don't think that this has to do with a faulty load order.

Suppose that one of the .dds is corrupt? I tried to regenerate the LOD though, but the error stays.
