Got a question, in the Rivet

Got a question, in the Rivet City home, are the extra med kits on the left of the auto doc supposed to be used for storage?  If so then they must be off a little in the version before this one, as I can't reach them to store anything?

They're just there for

They're just there for decoration like the ones in the vanilla FO3 homes Infirmary. Also replacing the Auto-Doc Replaces the infirmary and i didn't have enough room to give the player and follower the ability to walk on both sides of the surgical table.

Much kudos for the way you filled out Rivet City. Those extra rooms and views are really nice. I am the type of player who likes to survey my surroundings, and enjoyed being able to do just that.

Just thought I'd mention that you left a big gun skill book in one of the interior's on the DC side of things,chuck. I believe it's the interior next to the nuka store place in Georgetown.

So,dunno if this was changed

So,dunno if this was changed or not but for some reason,the gnomes for the drunken gnome quest are quest items and I cant remove them. Was this changed or is it an issue on my end?

It was changed some time ago.

It was changed some time ago. There are now Gnome stands in all major player homes. Megaton, Tenpenny, Lucky 38 and My New Rivet City Home. Once the quest starts the Gnome stand activates and you can place the Gnomes on any one of them and they will show up in any home you own. 

This was done to help people keep track of which gnomes they have. Also once a Gnome is placed try clicking on him for a Drunken Quote!

I don't know if someone else

I don't know if someone else had this problem, but my Megaton home has a giant void in the floor and in the ceiling. I can walk around them, but it's a bit of a weird issue. My load order follows.

Is there a chance you could make a version that makes the interior items more consistent with the rest of the wasteland? e.g.:

cup o' joe mugs to regular mugs (muggy doesn't take them)

leg brace with slightly different hud icon to regular leg brace (can't be used to make doctor bags)

postwar toasters to regular toasters (toaster won't take them)

fans/lamps/etc to static objects (this is not as important, as it does not interfere with compatibility)

 

also where did the tiny robots go? :(

Sort of a vanilla issue there is one "New Medical Brace" In Vanilla. (Ravens Rock) I added three more but I changed them out for the ones that can be used in the Doctors bag script.

According to Toasters script he should already take Postwar Toaster. You may have another mod conflict or something I used the vanilla toasters so they should all be taken.

No! The ability to loot all kinds of stuff is a feature of my mod if you don't want to be able to take the stuff just don't or feel free to make a patch and clean out all the hundreds of Misc forms and replace them with vanilla ones.

as for the tiny robots, maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place, but I remember one of my favorite additions in this mod (apart from the awesome interiors) was the AI driven mini robots, they made great decoys when sneaking around, they are still in the mod, right?

I can't repeat the issue and you load order doesn't seem to have anything that would mess things up. 

Is that the only issue your having with the home? Are there some strange wall overlaps or anything else not right? 

What version of my mod are you using?

Fix your load order. The 4 preorder packs are supposed to go under the DLC for New Vegas. And TTW Fixes is supposed to be under Taleoftwowastelands ESM. This might not fix your issue but it could prevent other's from occuring.

I didn't look at the load order for correctness I looked for anything that might edit the home or, Megaton itself.  I have a trigger set to clean the cell and remove the default stuff and thought that might be over written some how. 

But your right about the lod order issues.

I feel like I've been spamming updates a bit but I have been working hard on TTWInt and want to get it out there. 

Much of what I've been doing is in the background and you might not even notice it but It's all to help with performance. 

I'm preparing to upload TTWInt Combo v 4.5.9 which includes these fixes/changes. 

TTW Interiors Project v4.5.9:

Cleaned out some duplicate forms in the Megaton Home. Fixed an issue in the Megaton home themes where there would be duplicate egg timers.  Removed a "Big Guns" skill Book from the "US Army Recruitment Center" In Georgetown.  Muggy will now accept "A cuppa Joe" Coffee Mugs. All medical Braces that can be found in TTWInt can now be used in Dr. Bag Crafting.  Reworked all D.C. Glass window cells to now use vanilla LOD. Doing this cuts down on the amount of assets required by the mod. and should help with performance.  Added an Art Deco awning to Mason District "Drunken Donuts".   Edit: Last minuet fixing some broken Textures.    Hope I'm not getting annoying with my updates.

Hi all, This is the same bug I had way back Chuck, if you remember? The culprit for me, as strange as it sounds, was a pipboy mod I was using at the time, A Familar Friend Pipboy 2500.

The core is required for just about every mod I do. So yes you need the core.  the combo has all of the real mod the core just holds my assets. both are needed.

The desk overlap is the only

The desk overlap is the only issue I had encountered so far in the home. 

The version of the mod i was using was:

ttw_interiors_core_v2.6.3

ttw_interiorsproject_combo_v4.5.5

I have also rearrange my load order as suggested and it did not solve the problem.

Love that name btw, try going through all of your mods eliminating them one at a time until the megaton home looks right, then just uninstall that particular mod. Save the game in the room with the bed. Open your mod manager then uncheck one. Go back to game and then reload that save. Sometimes you have to actually quit the game and re-start. Don't know why but this is but sometimes that is the case. So the recomended way is to just restart the game evertime. Uncheck yur mods one at a time.

It is a process but it works.

I never tested that. I think so because you get it for finishing the "Tenpenny Tower" Quest. If your in good standing with Tenpenny Help Gustavo Clear out the Ghouls  and he will give you the key. If not help roy take over  the tower and after the quest is done Roy will Give you the key. 

Edit: Just checked my load order again and I do have reputations installed.  So Yes there are no issues with getting both homes if your using it.

This is something I just

This is something I just recently learned about. Well not the bug your reporting but it's along the same lines. If there is no collision box the camera can zoom out side these hole. 

I'll just have to go around and add collision plains to fix the issue. 

Thanks I hadn't really thought about these building with holes and being able to see out of them.

Just tried the Love Machine home for Megaton. All I can say is Wow! I usually get the Wastelands one but thought it would be fun to experiment. Truly inspirational!  I love it!!

I made it to the new Rivet

I made it to the new Rivet City Home (I started a new game about a week ago) and everything is perfect except for the bobble head stand isn't showing my bobble heads. Is there a way I can fix that? I think the toy box is working because I put a flamingo in it and it is now outside the bedroom. However I also put in a protectron toy and toy boat and those pictures from Minefield I suppose the boat will be in the bathroom but I don't see the protectron anywhere. Everything else is working great! Thanks for the new updates! 

UPDATE:

It's all good, I found the toys and the bobble head activated after I found another one and activated it at the stand in Rivet City. 

Thanks Chuck, I believe this is your best home yet. I love the toy box idea as it adds more fun to the game, I also like the turning fan in Tenpenny. Can't wait for room with a view to get finished.

Note: Another user asked what version of Chuck's mod I was using to get these effects.  I'm sorry if these pictures caused confusion I posted them to share with Chuck. Here is the reply I sent to this user. I am posting it here to clear things up.

The pictures in this post show items that don't get implemented in the toy box, however, they are all items that can be found in Chuck's homes throught the Wastelands.  I placed them there myself to share with Chuck. If you would like to be able to have the same effects and a lot of fun you can download a FNV mod called Feng Shui and start placeing items in game yourself without having to go to the G.E.C.K. I also changed the scale on these items. To do that you need to enter the console and click on the item you want to change. Then you need to type in SetScale and the size you want. 1 is the default so to double the size of an item you would type, SetScale 2, then exit the console and save your game. After saving you then need to reload your last save and your items should appear larger.

Is there a way to edit the Megaton player home? I would like to replace the new desk and filing cabinet with the vinilla ones, and the desk says "stoarge" instead of "storage."  Still a great mod, thanks for the conversion!

 

Update: looks like I was using an outdated file. All fixed, I think.

Minor Problem with the Pre

Minor Problem with the Pre-war theme in the Megaton home (2.6.4 version), the table appears to be missing, the glasses and items that should be on the table remain levitating, but upon being touched, they fall.

TTW Interiors Project v4.6.2: Fixes broken Landscape in Mason District south. Fixes the missing table in the Megaton Home Pre-War theme. Misses missing message Icon when the player has no gnomes to add to the collectors stands.   @ersa,  there should be no issue with those Goodsprings Reborn, Novac Reborn you'll have to test with Primm Reborn.

there is a conflict between TTW Fixes and TTWInteriors Comb. I hadn't noticed because I always have fixes load before TTWInteriors. Having fixes load before TTWInt will fix the issues some people have with overlapping desks in the bedroom and the moving of a locker.

I haven't been in any interiors other than my megaton home, I must say that this is truly a gorgious mod!

With that said, I am unsure if this has been reported as of yet:

There's some z-fighting occuring with a deck of cards on the kitchen table closest to the player on the right in the Pre-War Art theme.

More importantly, unsure if this is a Vanilla bug or not, I've been seeing NPC's getting stuck on the hillside stairs to the common house. It looks as if they were moved a smidge out or the rotation was set a smidge off, not sure.

Also there's some floating abraxo next to the fridge over the sink, what's that about?

All in all, you blew me away with the house themes, simply amazing! 5/5

Alright, so I've combed

Alright, so I've combed through the vault theme and my findings are this:

The Coffee maker is stuck in the kitchen counter, it makes this coliding sound.

The globe on the wooden shelf in the living room is levatating, is it for you?

So I'm not sure if this is being compounded by FO3's sound files not having like spacial effects applied (if that's what's happening) or if it was an inssue in Vanila, either way, thanks again for the mod, I will be going through the other themes for the house. ;)

Raider Theme: This might be the water purifyer but the garbage can is coliding and moving around next to the counter in the kitchen. (Potential issue with all themes? not always reproducable)

The body on the bunkbed upstairs is levatating a little bit.

Medical tools levitating off the tray, looks kinda funny when you go left or right.

The water purifyer is very, very noisy, you can hear the high pitched hiss almost everywhere in the house, can something be done about this? I have a feeling that it maybe related to FO3's spacial effects not being applied (if that's what's happening here.)

Wasteland Explorer Theme:

So NVAC reported two crashes when I purchased the explorer theme from her after I closed the dialogue, I didn't have enough cash, went back to her and bought it from her regular purchase menu not the house one. She stopped talking in both purchase and closing dialogue. (She was fine after the interraction ended and went back to talking.) (I didn't use my quick trade but maybe it's a conflict there?) I'm betting it was minimizing and maximizing it, even in windowed mode sometimes you get an issue.

Garbage can also coliding with this one and the water purifier.

Noticed there are two nukacola lamps one large one small next to eachother (is this for all of them? not sure.)

There is a spoon floating in mid air over some squirel stew upstairs in the room on the right.

Science Theme: There's 3 Espresso Machines, probably intentional, but there's some z-fighting going on there. (Probably a non-issue, I think I get where you're going with this and I like it.)

Bedroom wall smiley face screen thing is not centered with the bed like the portrait of Mr. House is. (Love this theme by the way.)

Pre War Theme: Coffee maker stuck in the counter far right near garbage in kitchen.

Upstairs between the two chairs near the infarmary stuff the plant looks like it could be slid over some? I'll leave that to you, also I noticed some zfighting on the floor there, not really an issue either.

By the nuka cola machine there's no spoon to go with the cereal. (not a big deal)

Bear and coffee cups floating in bedroom.

Pre War Art Theme: New stuff, floating securitron and globe on kitchen shelf.

2 shot glasses with only one chair in the loungey area upstairs near jukebox.

Love Machine Theme: Coffee maker and Garbage can coliding and missplaced.

2 shot glasses 1 chair by jukebox.

Texture missing for something by or above the couch downstairs? it's coming up as a red excalamtion point thing halfway in the wall.

Well, that's all that I could see, thanks very much for this mod and apologies for the poort formatting! Superb job on the Pre-War Art Decor Theme, Science Theme, Love Machine Theme. I can't remember the rest to be honest, I'm sure they were great too!

That happened to me if I'm playing a spanish FNV because the translation added new base ID for the items or the same ID points to another thing.

An example with the italian an english version can be seen here:

Mismatch means that the same base ID points to another thing (items can point to a quest... so possible crash) and missing new base ID in the translation that aren't in the english version of the game.

Like I said I don't know if that's your problem or not, but is curious that i have that bug with many mods if i play in spanish.

Also chuck, when there is no theme a weird fluttering like insects can be heard in the kitchen/workshop/bedroom is where it's loudest, I can't see any bugs so I'm trying to figgure out why it's happening, thanks.
