TTW Interiors Project

Have you ever thought about scabbing the TTW wastes, even though, the super mutants may horrifically, and violently rip your heart out? Have you said to yourself D*** the torpedoes I am going Downtown or to the strip anyway,  only to find once you arrive, 99% of the shops and houses are all boarded up?  Have you ever seen a building on the horizon, thinking to yourself, I'll head there just to find nothing of interest, nothing worth investigating? If so, this mod is for you!

Since the AWOP Interiors patch is for NV only does that mean it's a redeco of the GS house or is it much more extensive?

Hrm we didn't change the gas station or emergency railyard station, but we DID finalize all the navmeshes correctly in the edited wastelands cells.

Just a few minor issues I

Just a few minor issues I want to point out. 

combo both versions.

  1. If you have placed bobbleheads on any other bobblehead stand they will be missing from the RC home stand. 
  2. If you have already started "Drunken Gnomes" quests the Gnome stands will not appear in the new RC home.
  3. If you have already completed "Those" You'll have to cheat the doors with console command "Unlock" to get into the home. (Nothing bad will happen for doing this) The home and key are given to the player after getting Vera Weatherly to take in Bryan Wilks. 

TTWInt Followers Go home,

  1. If you cheat into the home you will not be given the option to send followers to the Rivet City home. The only fix for this I can think of is to do a player.additem to get the key it is called TTWIntRCHomeKey. If you have the key you should be able to send follower there. 
  2. All vanilla followers while in FNV will be sent to my Updated suite but custom followers will still go to the vanilla suite. (I think I have not tested this.)

As always for best results a new game is best but the bugs with continuing a save are minor.

TTWInteriorsProject_Combo.esm \ Worldspace \ 0A01A265 <DCworld10> in 3.8 AWOP version copies the <DCworld10> Object Bounds values from Fallout3.esm (12,-6). Previous versions did set it at its own values (0,1) and BrokenSteel.esm sets it at (-2,3)

I was wondering which values are supposed to win in TTW setting? Is the change back to the F3 values intended?

That's likely a dirty edit that I missed I will look into it.

And there are already too many Player homes that lack that to worry about another not having it :)  Especially when I have still not tracked down the deck of cards for the Freeside home yet.

It also updates the Megaton

It also updates the Megaton Home, Tenpenny Home, Atomic Wrangler Room and the Novac Room and adds a new home in Rivet City. 

Lucky 38 is now grand with window views,

Megaton and tenpenny are expanded and have all new fully reworked themes, You can also now get both Megaton and Tenpenny homes if you don't blow up Megaton and, finish the Tenpenny Quest. 

Atomic Wrangler room is expanded and now has upgrades. Upgrade terminal is just outside of the room,

Novac Room has glass window views and has an upgrade terminal in the Novac lobby. 

the Followers Go Home Add-on allows you to send any follower to the homes you own depending on which wasteland your in. Example is if your in DC you can send Boon to your megaton home but not to the lucky 38.

If using fo3 awop, too, should I consider anything extraordinary? Or can I just use the nv awop version? THere is a wmx-eve patch for the fo3+fonv awop, so I assume it can not go to bad?

Well Really it is a combo of all my interior mods. DC, NV, Player homes and  DC Gambling.

I feel like I should clarify. It didn't occur to me till even after this last reply that room with a view was meant to be literal. When I talk about the TTW interiors feel I just meant the general sense of aesthetics. I like the way you lay a place out and what you do with it. So I was more talking about that in reference to the GS house rather than a literal window/view.

The new Rivet City Home is

The new Rivet City Home is awesome. What a view!

FYI, I did noticed two things at the Rivet City home and I don't see them mentioned so far.

One when I got the work bench, it lists it self as a weapons bench and only offers me the chance to build a bottle cap mine (the only recipe I currently have.) Is there some trick to use it as a normal workbench?

Two, the refrigerator does not work for TTW Dump it and Mobile Auto Sorter. When I crouch down and select the fridge, it just opens the door instead of giving me the option to dump in to it or have it open.

Using PN if it makes a difference. I can post a load order if it would help.

I can't speak for Chuck but, I get the feeling that there is more to come with this house.  If you, go out to the observation deck you can see a walkway that leads to an ammo box? If you tcl and look around out there you will find all kinds of interesting stuff. It looks like to me that Chuck is planning to expand this house perhaps sometime in the future.  With all the new stuff he is adding to the Strip in New Vegas I get the feeling that he has plans to re-build the whole Strip? Again, I'm not speaking for Chuck nor do I have any information on any of this, but, from my perspective it seems that there is a whole lot more to come? One thing I know,  Chuck is prolific! 

Sorry for the late edit: But, it just occured to me that this is a FO3 mod, It wouldn't have a work bench like FNV, it has been a while since I played a vanilla FO3 game but I think all the FO3 workbenches are like this?

I don't have any plans for the DLC's at the moment. I did have some Lonesome road stuff started but I lost it with my system update. Feel free to do what you want and I will work around you. At the moment I'm having fun just updating the vanilla player homes. 

@Runningblank, 

the workbench is a hold over from when I converted DCInt and updated it to TTWInt. There is a slight (mostly unnoticeable edit on the mesh which forced me to make a new form) I forgot to update to the NV script. I have fixed this and it will be included in my next update but if you don't want to wait just open my mod in FNVedit, Go to activators and look for custom Workbenches and change the script to the Crafting Workbench script. 

@FalloutAddict, 

I do intend on adding the full range of FO3 themes to the home! Although some of the stuff you TCL'ed to are left over from copying the vanilla cell. You can get to them by exploring the vanilla Rivet City Worldspace.

I'm probably the ONLY person that thinks this would be cool but I'll throw it out there.

 

I think it would be really cool to have your megaton home them (or tenpenney if you can get themes there?) altered your other TTW Interior homes in some minor way. Not a full redeco but just a smallish nod or whatever would be neat.

Science theme adds some kind of instrument or whatever to a corner, vault theme maybe a subtle "Obey the overseer" sign someplace, etc.

On a different subject, I'm haveing some problems with some things, what's new right.  My snow globes aren't showing up on the stands to the Lucky 38, Tenpenny, or Rivet City?  Also, do I need to download, 'A Room With A View', separately or is it included in TTW Interiors? The reason I'm asking is because I just won the comp sweet at the Top's and when I went there the room was the same old room that it always was?

Oh, a few months back I was having problems with alignment in my Megaton home, you will never believe what was causing the problem, it was, A familiar friend pip-boy. When I changed to a different pip-boy the problem went away. Go figure!

PS, I laughed my butt off getting the one at Jacobstown yesterday!

I just tested the snow globes

I just tested the snow globes and they all worked when giving them to Jane but if I killed house the didn't show up in the Rivet City home because I forgot to update the script on the Snow Globe Stand. Fixed now. 

did you kill House? If So you need to click on the snow globe stand like you do for the Bobble Head Stand. 

A Room with a view is not in the combo yet it's still a WIP. I'm going to do the Ultra Luxe suite too.

Okay, I did a little more searching. Here is the problem, in the Lucky 38 Presidential sweet only one of the snow globes show up. When I take the elevator to the guest sweet, what used to be the presidential sweet all of my snow globes show up. Do you think it might be because perhaps you have made changes to the Lucky 38 but not the guest sweet? I have had this home a long time now? At any rate for me it will be a mute point since I've decided to start a new game. I want to use both your Tenpenny home and the new Rivet City home in FO3 and the Lucky 38 home in Vegas. I want all my stuff to show up and to do that I might just have to start from scratch.
