Don't worry about your

Don't worry about your English level, mine is not better ;)

If we do this, they could put TTW available in Spanish and French!

I've already did some test with "Egg translator"  on TTW's esm and it didn't broke the files. I used  a Fench database made by "Roi Liche" from "La Confrérie des Traducteurs"

Many things have to be done manually but it greatly reduce the translation work! ;)

Actually, a large amount of my work is toward being open to translations. I am writing a script for FNVEdit that can be run on the base FO3 files (any version, any language) and it will AUTOMATICALLY convert them to work for TTW. So the only thing you would need to translate would be the TTW.esm file, most of which should be fairly easy.

I would like to start

I would like to start collecting translations, yes.

In other news:

I'm sorry everyone, I tried hard for this week, and its not over yet, but don't get your hopes up. There are over 20 thousand conflicts between FNV and FO3 and I am trying to resolve them ALL. I am still shooting for this week, but it may need to get pushed back. Rest assured: I am working like a dog and I want to get it to you as much as you want to have it... I can't play until it's done, either.

I was about to start a new game in a week or so, so sweet ;)

Yeah, it takes as long as it

Yeah, it takes as long as it takes Jax.

Due to the nature of this type of game, none of us will be playing NV now until 2.0a is out. It's all about progress, what progress can you make in your savegame if a restart is required in 1 or 2 weeks time? None really.

If I want to make a request for a F3 mod to be coverted to 2.0a, but the mod doesn't belong to me, can I do this? Or would that be against the rules?

Also, I want to make a TTW version of my mod, black load screens

http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/45249

but there is a couple of new load screens introduced by TTW. Can I have the name/location of them please?

Thanks peeps. Keep up the good work! :)

Feel free to make requests in

Feel free to make requests in the mod requests forum, perhaps somebody will do it.

The loading screens, I don't know specifics but if you check the TTW bsa files they match the structure of the FNV bsa files, so if you did it for FNV you can follow the same path to do it for TTW.

Sorry to carry on taking this

Sorry to carry on taking this thread off topic, but I have to agree about mass effect... I actually found myself wanting to help the characters out; not to get the best ending, but to help them out :p

Shame FO3 failed so hard on character relations, esp when it come to companions :p

I was extremely disappointed

I was extremely disappointed by the endings in Mass Effect 3 though, even with the "extended cut" DLC.  I could write a ten page essay on that but I'd probably be preaching to the choir.

If you play Mass Effect, definitely play 1 and 2, but I would say skip 3 or don't bother playing the very end - just skip the last mission make up your own ending.

To me, ME1 is a decent RPG, ME2 is a shooter with RPG elements, and ME3 is a brainless frat-boy shooter full of cliche`, weak writing, and discontinuity.

The only thing that really saves ME3 for me is that it has the best DLC - Javik is a cool companion, Leviathan and Omega are interesting missions, and the recent Citadel DLC has great writing and brings back the character development of the people on your team.

Hello,

Hello,

How is the progress doing so far? Can u tell us when we might expect the release?

U said maybe this week, but is it still coming or will it be moved to another week?

I cant wait anymore haha.

Thanx again for this awesome mod!

My first step was to go

My first step was to go through and decide what to merge and what NOT to merge. So for example, if a leveled item list exists in both games, I would check its contents and if they were wasteland-neutral, they would remain merged, but if, for example, it had White Horsenettle, then I would have to separate the lists. That phase is done. Now I have to go through all the stuff that remained merged and make sure that any conflicts are properly resolved. This phase is much quicker.

Once all THAT is done I just need to clean out TTW.esm which is a very quick job.

So a release this week is completely feasable. Today I have finals, so not much progress today.

I can't confirm that 100%,

I can't confirm that 100%, but I'm fairly sure it has. 1.4a was actually kind of half assed, I left everything merged and only separated them if they caused problems, which obviously worked pretty well but still wasn't the proper way to do it.

@Jax & @suoert

@Jax & @suoert

I made a fix for this problem a while ago (based on pre 2.0a version it can be found in the "usual" ;) thread). It's a simple Brotherhood of Steel faction problem of Broken Steel (player get's added to the normal Broken Steel faction after waking up and not to the TTW DC variant).

No worries, I can drop a quick update:

Soon

Joking aside, it's truly VERY close. I am finally to the point where I am just going over all of TTW.esm's changes and making sure they still make sense and are applied properly.

I'm not going to give an estimate because I've been wrong every time and I hate breaking promises, but let's say no more than 2 weeks at the MOST. Should be significantly less than that but if its not out in two weeks feel free to start berating me over it.

It'll get here when you're done with it bro. Handle your business, it takes as long as it takes and I'm pretty sure we'll all still be here when you get it out.

I just joined to say that

I just joined to say that this mod is really awesome and brings about a new level of deepness into the game. Just because you know you aren't confined to 1 city/area anymore. And with the DLC added it really becomes more of a world.

Now am just awaiting eagerly the 2.0 update. Good luck and thanks for the great work on this mod.

Hey, used to play Requiem; I

Hey, used to play Requiem; I am super-excited about the new update and would like to get a head-start - already did a clean new re-installation of both games with DLC, any suggestions on what to do to get ready for TTW install? I have downloaded mods that I plan on using, have NMM set up, etc. Just not sure how much this new version is going to differ from the faq already given on how to get started... i.e. should I wait until 2.0a before installing other mods? Or would it be better to go ahead and make sure everything is working smoothly first? Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks again for all the hard work and talent and dedication!
