Tranquility Lane Tree Popping

Seems to be LOD issues in Tranquility Lane with the tree's popping between types.

Was reported in the chat by Zeak, checked it myself. Vurts is NOT installed by either of us ;)

:EDIT:

Chuck says it was usually an issue with the Canopy Shadow, however I did not get this problem in the last release... so I don't know what's changed with the Speed Tree thing. I will check Oasis too, however I didn't get this issue there with the last release either.

TTWFixes nor RWL touch Tranquility Lane or the Tree's in any way.

Only thing that's changed is the LOD fix. Maybe causing issues with TQL?

Chuck gets the same popping

Chuck gets the same popping effect when using the fix for the crash. We're getting it now without the fix.

The trees in TL and Oasis are speed trees and not affected by the LOD fix at all.

I can totally confirm this in my game also not only do trees popup, but they seem to change shape too depending on the distance.

So I have the feeling that the tree LOD in tranquility lane is being replaced by other tree models and not any LOD at all, maybe .

 

EDIT: In Oasis the trees also pop, but it is almost imperceptible since it is a giant tree cluster, so trees block the view of the other trees can only be noticed in a few small bits

Re-opened. This is caused by mismatching DLOD settings between landscape/tree/object LOD.

Can't seem to fix this, only way will be to convert the speed tree trees into normal meshes.
