Stuck on Fallout 3 intro

Hello, hopefully I can get some help here. I start a new game in the capital wasteland. After all the DLC messages pop up and I dismiss them, I am at the Fallout 3 intro where you are born. However, nothing happens. The camera just kind of looks around by itself and the woman that I would assume is delivering me doesn't say anything. Not sure what to do.

It is generally considered

It is generally considered polite to read the FAQ and any sticky posts before posting in a forum asking for help.

Over two years later, I'm

Over two years later, I'm having this exact same problem...and no one ever answered... I have read through the FAQ and nothing addresses this problem. I have also done all the perform tweaks/fixes and I have no other mods installed.

James is missing and I don't know what to do. I want my Dad(pun intended), but seriously please help.

Disable all mods before

Disable all mods before starting a new game, enable them only after you leave vault 101 for the first time.

Make sure your TTW load order is correct.

Hi all, I'm actually having

Hi all, I'm actually having the exact same issue as OP. The intro movie ends and I see see Dr. Li and Dad in the operating room but they are both stuck in place with no dialog. Dr. Li moves briefly, she uses does something like a "using the computer" animation. Also, the object that Dr. Li only displays an error symbol.

I have all mods disabled with the exception of TTWbugfixes. I have left most of my NVSE plugins enabled (JIP, Lutana, NVAC, MCM, stutter remover, ui organizer, and one that allows achievements to stay enabled regardless of console use). All of the .ini files have the required changes.

Specs:

Windows 10 home

Processor- Intel(R) Core i5-5200U CPA @ 2.20ghz 2.19 ghz

8 gb of RAM

64-bit operating system

x64 based processor

FOMM 0.14.11.12

Install log: http://pastebin.com/uQHPCLh2

This is was a successful install. I had previous logs where the installer couldn't find the folders with my .exes even though they exist. I can post that if it helps. I got it to work but I still had to manually install things like BSA files and the fallout 3 ESMs. I think the installation process was a likely cause. I know that I had renamed the Fallout 3 GOTY to Fallout 3 in order to get the installer to recognize it (although that might have been for FOMM, I can't remember).

I've tried to mess around in game by using the console to kill/resurrect the npcs because I thought it might restart their AI but it didn't work. I didn't want tococ to a different cell because I'm worried that it would mess up the game. Also I don't know what cell I'd even coc to.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you. If any extra info would help, I'll do my best to provide it.

The mod is installed into New

The mod is installed into New Vegas, not Fallout 3.

You can get this behavior if audio files are not installed, or you have a codec pack interfering with the game.

I installed the mod to NV. I

I installed the mod to NV. I just had the impression that I needed to move relevant  FO3 files to my NV directory. I'll look into the audio files and codec pack now.

Edit: I forgot to mention that FO3 GOTY is installed to my Program Files, not sure if that is an issue. I've read that modding games installed to there can be difficult, especially with FO3. Also, here's a visual on the error I'm seeing.

Apologies, you said FOMM

Apologies, you said FOMM could not access your Fallout 3 directory which led me to believe you were trying to install the mod into Fallout 3. Other people have actually tried to do this.

You can't move the Fallout 3 files in the Fallout 3 game folder to New Vegas, that will result in countless errors and crashing. Our installer patches the files and rebuilds the BSA's to work with New Vegas. You can manually install them from the files the installer builds by following the manual installation instructions here

Be sure to test before you start installing other mods, and please read the FAQ.

Roy, do you know how

Roy, do you know how fantastic you are? TTW is working perfectly, thank you for the help. I didn't realize that the FO3 files in the TTW folder were patched, so I'm glad you pointed it out!

Just an FYI... Once you have

Just an FYI... Once you have installed and set up TTW you don't even need to have FO3 installed on your computer at all. The TTW installation process will grap any and all required FO3 files. When completed if you want to save hard disk space you can just uninstall FO3 all together. But if ever you needed to reinstall TTW then you would of course need to reinstall FO3 first.

As soon as I got TTW working,

As soon as I got TTW working, I deleted FO3 and put in place a stock vanilla install for testing/modding purposes. Saves a lot of space compared to how much I normally install in FO3, while still leaving me the ability to do FO3 mods as needed.

I was having the same problem

I was having the same problem. I had Loot sort the esps, but the order differed from that listed in manual installation screen. After resetting the order, problem gone.
