Hello my name is Mortemim, I have worked to setup a stable 40fps build for TTW. So far I've gotten close, but there is a section of Bethesda Ruins that drops my FPS hard to 26. At this spot I have a save game to test performance boosts, the PYFFI process gave me another 2 FPS (up from 24) but most changes don't seem to affect anything, my suspicion is that this is a GPU processor issue so many of the tweaks to free-VRAM won't help out.
I have a few questions. So on to the questions:
Are there any hidden pitfalls from PYFFI? Occasionally a mesh that has been PYFFI'd will not work in-game but visible in NIFscope, is this user error?
Does capping the FPS on the high end actually reduce load on my hardware? If it does reduce load, is this responsible for the perceived steadier frame rates or is this a placebo?

The last line I have not been able to get rid of, but it doesn't seem to be causing an issue.
The Tools I used were developed by others so credit where due:
4GB Patcher - http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/62552/
Roy's INI for NVSR - https://taleoftwowastelands.com/sites/default/files/Dead%20Sirious/nvsr_...
(Modified low and high to 30 and 40 in the FPS section)
I would like to thank all the authors of these tools for getting me this far, you guys are awesome!
My Hardware Specs:
MSI Laptop - https://www.msi.com/Laptop/gt70-2pc-dominator.html
2.8GHZ i7 Quad Core, 8 GB RAM, nVidia GTX 780 mobile, 1TB SSD for the game, and 250GB SSD for the OS With my hardware it became readily apparent that a sustained 60 frames per second is not possible, but I've found 40 to be a reachable goal, and 90% of the time I am sitting on the 40 fps cap.
