Optional options not working

When we install through FOMM we get some options like Fallout 3 theme, and Fallout 3 start menu music and so on, and I think most or all of them are not working for some reason.

I never could get that stuff

I never could get that stuff to work either, I think the installer is supposed to insert the files from the bsa into the optionals directories and doesn't.

It's supposed to build a new BSA and put that BSA in the optionals directory.

It worked in the release it

It worked in the release it was originally released in, and hasn't worked in any of the more recent releases. It did work at one point but doesn't seem to now is what I'm getting at.

I wonder if the installer is

I wonder if the installer is somehow neglecting to build those BSAs.

FYI, the installer is

FYI, the installer is building the BSA's for "Fallout3 Player Voice" (728kb) and "Fallout 3 Sound Effects" (2907kb).  It just doesn't build a BSA for "Fallout3 Main Title".  So I think you only need to look at the Main Title BSA.

The Fallout 3 player voice

The Fallout 3 player voice also need's to be looked at. The voice when you get hit by an enemies attack or projectile doesnt work. And when you swing a melee weapon or unarmed weapon, the voice only works some of the time. The voice when you step on an armed Bear Trap works though.

I hate to necro this, but for

I hate to necro this, but for the main title music, it's a single file from the Fallout 3 data folder that's not getting copied, no BSA or anything.  If I manually place the Main Title mp3 (in the appropriate folder structure) into my Optional Files and make the FOMOD myself (7zip and rename to .FOMOD), it works.  So the installer just needs to make the folders and copy the file, shouldn't be complicated.
