Please read the FAQ, pay

Please read the FAQ, pay particular attention to the incompatible mods list.

Get NVAC, remove any d3d9.dll you may have installed in the game folder which is suggested by bad guides to get the game working. Reset your graphics options in the default launcher, you may need to edit your ini files for TTW again. Make sure your graphics driver and Windows 10 are fully up to date, if you use intel graphics there is little you can do about this as they do not fully support directx 9.

Could be a video driver bug.

Could be a video driver bug. Nvidia is known for some driver revs causing hair troubles... bald people, hair following characters around like a pet, etc. I once had the follow you around like a pet bug - it was hilarious!

The "bald" is because Windows

The "bald" is because Windows 10 broke shader model detection at one point, they since fixed that. NVAC also has a fix for it, but you *must* setup your graphics options again from the default launcher in order for it to fix it. I have already given you the solutions, it's up to you to follow them.

The vault suit hotfix is not TTWFIxes, TTWFixes is UF3P and YUP combined for TTW, completely separate. Have a look around our forums.

Well it seems like your drivers are installed incorrectly or something because it's detecting the wrong driver dll and the render path and shader versions are wrong.

Are you on a laptop?

No I'm on a PC Desktop.

No I'm on a PC Desktop.

I don't think there is anything wrong with my graphics card driver, I play any kind of game, Just played Destiny 2.
And I play Team Fortress 2 everyday, It also uses Direct X 9, and is even older then Fallout New Vegas.

And I just updated my Graphics card, Still everybody is bald, Any other game it runs just fine.

It has to be a bug in the drivers, I would report the issue to nvidia.

My renderer info looks like this, and it was the same for my 580 other than the card name.

Graphic drivers aren't my

Graphic drivers aren't my area, but it seems to me that you are using a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti but your RendererInfo says you have a Fresco Logic driver (I think).

Like Roy mentioned before, your log shows some differences from his and also mine:

  • Both my and Roy's RendererInfo logs show the right NVIDIA drivers (nvd3dum.dll) while yours show a Fresco Logic one (lci_proxyumd32.dll)
  • Ours show the Render Path BSSM_SV_2_A while yours show BSSM_SV_2_0
  • Our PStarget and PS2xtarget are both ps_2_a while yours is ps_2_0
  • Our shaderpackage is both 13 and yours is 2

I am sure the problem is somewhere in those differences.

You said you updated your

You said you updated your graphics driver, where did you get the update? Was it provided by nvidia's website/GeForce Experience, or did it come from a third party or driver update software?

I have the latest GeForce Experience provided drivers and my RendererInfo file is identical to Roy's except with a different GPU and SLi. As Rise said, that doesn't appear to be an nvidia supplied driver.

I wonder if you have multiple

I wonder if you have multiple gpus (built-into the cpu or motherboard and one in a pci-e slot). If your system is picking a 'built-in' gpu as it's primary rather than the pci-e one- it could be causing the problem your seeing (incorrect driver as the software is looking to update/ use the wrong gpu). Those can be set/ overwridden in BIOS.

I wonder if, inside the

I wonder if, inside the fallout.ini or falloutprefs.ini the incorrect gpu is being detected? That could explain the difference between the shader and drivers.

lci_proxyumd32.dll

This ^ could be what's causing the problem also since it seems to potentially sit in the 'render' path between the game and your gpu/ gpu drivers. Not sure what it is, but might be a good starting point to start checking.

Like I mentioned before, lci_proxyumd32.dll seems to belong to a Fresco Logic driver and not a Nvidia one.

Disable your onboard video in

Disable your onboard video in bios as suggested, the wrong video solution is being detected. Or uninstall your onboard drivers.

You could uninstall all the video drivers you have (including on board), and use display driver uninstaller (DDU) to remove all driver traces and reinstall manually downloaded nvidia drivers. It's a good idea to manually download and install drivers rather than use Experience anyway.

My Asus Bios don't have option to disable the onboard gpu, only to change the order.
And the offboard gpu is first, as the "sD3DDevice="NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti"" says so.
Weeks ago was working just fine, so i fired up some days ago and all npcs were bald.
Even on my last save, It shows a screenshot with a NPC woman with hair on Tenpenny tower.

IMHO, That doesn't make any sense at all.
That file is a log file, it's says Information, that is not a configuration file, if it were it would have the .ini extension, and a totally different format.

I tried anyway, And as I suspected nothing changed.
I'm starting to give up. Or at least reinstall everything again, just to say that I didn't tried everything.

lci_proxyumd32.dll: Lci Proxy

lci_proxyumd32.dll: Lci Proxy Display Driver
Lci: Luminon Core Incorporated (Samoa) Taiwan Branch

I even deleted the Dll located on C:\Windows\SysWOW64
But the Game don't start anymore.
So I copied nvd3dum.dll and renamed to lci_proxyumd32.dll and the game started normally.
But still everybody is bald.
I think this is a new update from Windows 10, and was created/updated 18 of may 2017.

So no it's not "Fresco Logic driver"

the shader package is wrong

The shader package is wrong too, backup shader package 2, copy shader package 13 and rename it to 2

It's detecting the shader version wrong too, dunno if that can be fixed by external means. It's running in directx 8 mode (no hair). That was the first reason I asked if you had a d3d9.dll in your directory because there was some hacky fix that did the same thing.

Have you tried reinstalling directx9c ? Maybe creators update disabled it and it needs to be reinstalled. Windows 10 doesn't come with it and it's usually installed by games.
