MTB Redux - 2 Trucks, One Truck for Each Wasteland

Hey, I know theres lots of versions of TTW but I never really liked different versions of them, One was too old, Willows i liked the most but i didn't feel like the traveling between wastes was lore friendly also there were other things that hadn't been included like bobbleheads, so i changed it around a bit, This is based on the SORTOMATIC version, I wont be making a none sortomatic sorry.

 

This is my Redux'd version with lots of changes and most of all, Two trucks, One for each wasteland, The Truck crate for DC and the Van for the Mojave, The Vegas one is mainly based on tdx73's file, while the locations and MCM menu are from Willows version. All changes are below and installation instructions

 

 

 

 

-REQUIRES A CLEAN SAVE AND I MEAN REQUIRES -

Installation Instructions:

1: Make sure you have Sortomatic 1.3 installed

2: Download the Data file and install it first from the original mod page: Here

3: Install version 1.0 and overwrite any files

4: Overwrite the esp with version 1.1

 

Special Special Thanks to tdx73 for the original version, Please go and like and endorse etc..

Also special thanks to Willow for their version as without it, this wouldnt be made :)

I have several questions for you :-)

  1. Does this version also have the long load time fix included or is it not necessary because the travel between the wastelands disabled?
  2. Do the two trucks share the same Sortomatic containers or do the have own sets of storage?

1: Not needed but still recommended, like you said due to no travel between wastelands

2: Nope, they don't share containers, they have there own sets of storage Its mainly the reason i made this version :)

I have noticed a small issue with the Sortomatic integration: Although I have assigned a container for explosives and mines and have set up the quota manager to remove consumable weapons they get never removed from the inventory.

Can you reproduce this?

Although this sounds more like a Sortomatic issue, What Explosives/Mines do you have in your inventory at the time, what Container and what truck. Also you did do a Clean save before installing my version?

You need to put at least one of the item in the container if it's not vanilla for sortomatic to recognize it.

Yes, i did a clean save

Yes, i did a clean save before installing your version and besides of this functionality everything works fine.

Even the vanilla grenades and mines are affected (e.g. frag grenades and mines). I already tried to put one of each kind in the assigned container but they never get removed when processing the inventory.

I will try to work around it by adding the grenades and mines to the "always remove" list.

EDIT: That did work. It's a bit clumsy but I can live with that.

Its strange that, because I tested it yesterday with Frag Grenades after you told me, And got it to work fine with processing my inventory even without putting them in a container first, But hey at least you got it to work lol

2 minor things: 

The alien homing beacon is travelable from the start. I don't think it's supposed to be?

The map on the GPS dashboard in the DC truck shows the Vegas map :P

Hey Sorry i didnt notice your comment Pintokitty, Im suprised at the Alien homing beacon, Ill check it out, Also the map, Im not sure if theres a DC Map of sorts like the Vegas one, But you are right, that is something i never thought of hah.

\textures\clutter\pleximap01

\textures\clutter\pleximap01.dds is the same map but for DC

You can create a new texture set like the existing 00tdxPleximapTextureSet but with that texture, and use that new texture set on a new static, like tdxNVPleximap01 and put that in the DC truck

Yep Got it all sorted, Uploading the new version on the main post including a fix for the Alien Beacon, Now you need to have completed Zeta for it to appear. And of course the new map. Enjoy :)

Yo my man please could you

Yo my man please could you make a file for me to replace the van in vegas with another Crate truck I love the military feeling it brings also could you make this mod compatible with the Falcon mod it adds a vertibird with the same ability but it lands the verti on the roof I would love for a compatiblity patch

I think he means that is you

I think he means that if you have BOTH they try to occupy the same spot - the Vertibird lands on the roof of the van. I think he wants a patch that moves one or the other slightly so they don't overlap so that you can have both.
