Yeah, that one was largely just a merge of the new and old versions of the more perks mods.  This one involved a whole lot of reworking, updating, merging old and new versions of perks to work with old and new content.

Beginning to think this mod

Beginning to think this mod hates me haha. The Investor Perk doesn't seem to work in the Mojave for me. Perhaps it works on some vendors, because Lacey in the Mojave Outpost always has thousands of caps, but no one has Legion or NCR money (unless they're in that respective faction) to barter with and they all have low amounts of caps. Anyone else with this problem?

Any plans on modifying vanilla perks? Stuff like Gun Nut or Daddy's Little Boy that gives +5 to certain skills seems pretty useless.

Hmmm, that's something I hadn't considered. Did the original give the extra currency to everyone, regardless or who they were or did it just give the money to generic caravan/merchant folk? I had to rework that perk so it didn't give NCR/Legion money to merchants in the East. I'll have to take a look at that.

Can I make a little request? The perk Chemical Engineering from this mod allows you to convert disintegrated corpses (pile of goo and ash) into ammo. Seems like EVE is conflicting with this. Since it changes a some of the pile of ashes into its own container/model/object.

Yeah, I do believe that it gave it to everyone. I specifically remembering selling a gold bar or two to the Gun Runners merchant and taking the left over in Legion Aureus. The perk description says it gives it to most vendors, so I'd assume some are left out, but pretty sure it gave more currency to most of the major vendors.

I'll have to take a look at that.

OK, I've found the problem, and it's not so much a problem as a method of implementation. If you hang out in the mojave for a few days, as in the wait 3 days for LL to repop and what not, then you'd start seeing NCR scrip and Legion coins. Gonna ponder this for a minute and see what I can come up with.

 

Edit: After discussing and thinking about it for a while, this is less a problem than a bit of wonk.  When the vendor container respawns after you've been in the west for a few days it will correctly have the western money.  Until that point it'll have extra caps to make sure you're still getting the advantage from the perk.  I won't say this is "working as intended" but it's almost certainly in the category of "fixing it is more likely to break something"

Latest version of lutana is not loading for me; the nvse that I am using is the one which supports the  4G new vegas (http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35262).  Is this the correct version of nvse to use?  Thanks

FNV4GB supports all versions

FNV4GB supports all versions of NVSE, you launch through FNV4GB not NVSE. Lutana doesn't work because you are using an old version of NVSE.

You should be using this version of FNV4GB http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55061

I'm not sure if this has been brought up. But Great Jack and Clover Ace seem to not want to work with this. They're fine, up until I tell them to do anything other than follow me. When I tell them to wait they stay there, forever. Not even telling them to back up will unfreeze them. I thought it might be an error with JIP CC&C, as telling them to sandbox and relax didn't work, but it wasn't as when I told them to follow me they were stuck in waiting.
Any idea why this is? Didn't happen until i go this version of more perks. >.<

At level 20, I took the perk

At level 20, I took the perk wherein wearing power armor, you gain "momentum" and action point bonuses only while wearing power armor though. Any time I take off power armor, I lose the momentum and bonus as you're supposed to...but the notifications in the upper left never stop. I'm currently in Tranquility Lane and the "You've lost all your momentum" shows up about every 2 seconds.

Can anyone replicate this or know of a fix?

Doh. I saw that too but thought it was just me having had that perk at one point as a test thing.  Now I see it stems from my misunderstanding of what the AV/Perk drop down box in the dialog tab does.  

OK Posting a patch now that will fix:

  • Radiohead
  • Powered Accelerator Message repeating needlessly
  • Polar Bear Refreshment message not popping up (no one seemed to have noticed this but me)

in more perks for ttw it says

in more perks for ttw it says i should put the new vegas pre order packs almost at the end of the load order. but in the ttw installation instruction they are very particalair about their instructions towards the load order, and i have made my load order to be exactly like in the ttw instructions. if i change that wont it ruin my game ? and how do i replace my current nvse version with the nvse beta version ? (when in type in getnvseversion in my console it says version 4)

i have a mustache.

Download the patch again. My initial "fix" for the powered accelerator perk actually made the message problem worse.  I've had a problem this weekend where I put the dang condtional/operator in the wrong place or pointing the wrong direction.  So instead of it just saying you'd lost momentum I made it where it would say you lost momentum, then kick you up to level 1, then immediately tell you that you'd lost all momentum again.

 

ANYWAY, I edited the script and moved the stuff to where it will check the right thing at the right time and good to go.

If you downloaded the patch yesterday and DON'T use Powered accelerator then don't worry about it.

I guess just go to NVSE.silverlock.org and follow the instructions.

You just download the beta version and replace the one you have in your data folder. Not difficult in the slightest.

Having issues with the Repair

Having issues with the Repair Master perk. I'm able to craft the Repair Master Toolbox and the item is placed in my inventory, but clicking on it does nothing nor is the item consumed.

Ok, tested it and used it and the repair window popped right up. Do you have the Repair Master Toolbox or the Repair Master's Toolbox? Seems like the recipes kick out the Master (singular) Toolbox and that works fine.  Let me know so I can dig more.

Alright just loaded up the

Alright just loaded up the game, used the Repair Master's Toolbox and the repair window opened.

BUT, I also have the Kleptomaniac Punch perk. After using the Repair Master's Toolbox and repairing my weapons, I tried to open my secret Kleptomaniac Pocket (can't remember the name off the top of my head). The message in the corner shows up "Close your Pipboy". So I close the Pipboy, but the pocket never opens. After that, I'm unable to use the Repair Master's Toolbox again. Neither the Pocket window opens, nor the Repair menu.

So,how does  Furious Flank

So,how does  Furious Flank work exactly? I know this isnt the place to ask but this seems like a better place to ask since I'm using this mod. The affect doesnt effect companions added by mods or does it seem to affect RL3 since according to the description,the enemy is supposed to be exploded into red paste when a companion kills him/her. Not seeing the affect so I'm wondering if it only works with New Vegas companions only.

i decided to restart my 50

i decided to restart my 50 hour save because most the later perks werent working like paradox broadcaster , but on new game they worked

 

so anyway while i make a new game, i noticed a lot of duplicate traits, we are supposed to have the patch as well as the 1.3 version active right?

Just posting a quick fix I'd made regarding the Mobius Theory perk. The perk wasn't working upon selecting "yes" and selecting "no" warped you to... Tenpenny Tower. Nowhere else. Anyhow, this opens up the whole wasteland for randomized teleportation:

The "patch" is just a

The "patch" is just a replacement ESP with the fixed functionality for Powered accelerator.  They should have the same name so installing both at the same time shouldn't be possible.

Disregard. I forgot that I made a conventional patch for that.  I just assumed at the time people would merge it in.

I still don't know why you'd be seeing duplicate traits. Any in particular?

Well, it sends you to Tenpenny (or Megaton depending on choices you've made) if you are in the CW.  If you're in the mojave it should send you to the GS Cemetary.  Choosing... yes or no (I legit can't remember. It was set up fairly confusingly initially and I am always reluctant to change the spirit of how a thing works) would send you to a random location only in the CW if you'd never been to the mojave and vice versa.  It was random if you'd been to either.

Not sure why it wouldn't be working for you. I'll have to take a look.

Great work!

Installed Lutana, mod, and patch. Double-checked to make sure my LO was correct and then loaded my game with the Courier at lvl 40. Worked flawlessly.

Thank you for all of the effort that you put into this fun mod.

This is a question for perks like American Patriot or Steady Hunter or Last Sammurai. I opened the esm file in GECK and I couldn't find any condition for the effects of any of these perks.

 

Does that mean the effect applied to all weapons? If overlapping that would be a little bit OP. I used NVSE to run GECK

I'm going to go out on a very long limb and assume you are running windows 8 or 8.1.

Am I right?

I ask because there's a known bug where the GECK in windows 8 compresses all the condition columns over to the left.  If you start pulling them open to the right you'll see them. 

Or you could use FNVEdit.  But yeah, there are lots of conditions.

Looking in Edit I see that American Patriot, leaving aside weapons, requires Target GetInFaction ChineseGhoulFaction Equal To 1 OR GetInFaction DLC02CombatChineseFaction Equal To 1

That is the most annoying bug ever. It took me an hour to figure out why the conditions in my follower mod weren't showing up in the GECK. :(

How can I open and see the condition with FNVEdit? My Edit doesn't show anything unless it's a conflict. For example attached is what American Patriot looks like to me.

 

Edit: NVM I found out why. Right click on the right and unselect "hide non conflict"

I don't think it needed to be updated. I've been using v1.3 of More Perks TTW without any issues.
