Megaton House and Theme Overhaul 2-8-7

Hi! I was surprised to find no one converted the MHO mod from Fo3. It is the first thing to come up on the Nexus when you search 'Megaton' after all. So I wanted to request it to be converted for TTW, right up to the 2-8-7 patch mod with the 'no mustang' edit(I hate how the plane looks)

I tried to use the original

I tried to use the original version, and this version and both cause my game to soft-crash (when the main menu doesn't load). I even uninstalled the game and all other mods, reinstalled the games, fresh, reinstalled TTW, fresh, and then only installed this mod, but it still doesn't want to work. Please help.

Out of all the FO3 mods this

Out of all the FO3 mods this is probably the one I miss most  :(

None of the available TTW player homes really appeal to me.

Anyway I tried to do a mod conversion as per the instructions and something was definitely lost in translation. The first floor looked like the unmoded Megaton house. The second floor kind of had the right idea but among other glitches there was a desk blocking access to the bedroom and the door leading to the patio was non functional.

My modding skills are very modest so I'll have to leave this one aside for the time being, but I'm sharing my experience for the benefit of those whose love of the mod might tempt them into biting off more than they can chew.

It wasn't a complete write off though with the experience I gained I can try my luck at something simpler like the water purifier and portable chemsitry set.

TTW adds a hotplate to the

TTW adds a hotplate to the Megaton house, that allows cooking. I assume that if someone converts this mod, they will also have to edit that hotplate somehow, since the interior of the house seems quite different (extra rooms and stuff).

So I think it will need a bit more work than just running the conversion script.

Umm...I appreciate the
Umm...I appreciate the feedback but I'm going to need a little more to go on. The moded version of the house is quite different from the vanilla version, including being larger. I assumed when the mod loaded it would simply replace the interior cell for the house, but your comments about the hotplate / loading bench imply that there are persistent elements that remain in the modded version. If so could adjusting the position or removing these elements potentially fix the problem? I guess what I'm asking is what element of the game is the mod interacting with that might cause it to glitch? Any light you can shed on the matter would be helpful.
