Do we finally have a date range for the update's release?

Oh c'mon, this just videogame.Don't you have other things to,or understand that developers have real life to take care?

Of course they don't I

Of course they don't, I however patiently await TTW 3.1 or whichever version comes out when it arrives for public consumption.

I think asking for an ETA is not the same thing as being impatient and expecting developers to drop everthing. I work in software so I also understand how hard it is to put time tables on these sorts of things.

It can be thought of as a ‘good problem to have’ that people are so  interested in the project they want to take a peak behind the curtain & see where things are at. It has been 2 months since the last dev log after all.

Honestly, even if it came out

Honestly, even if it came out tomorrow you'd have to wait even longer for updated converted mods. TTW is still playable. I highly doubt when 3.1 comes out you'll even noticed half the things they're fixing.

On top of that, and I'm sad that it's happening, NV and 3 modding is coming to a crawl. It's been over 8-10 years since these games came out. That's a long time for dedicated fans to take time out of their lives to create something awesome just so people can take a crap all over it or just be trolls.

It's this impatience that's woven into the fabric of modern industry that has allowed the industry to just rush studios into forcing something to come out way earlier then it should have and then games end up being sub par and then those studios get dropped which ends up making lots of talented people lose their jobs.

Also these guys are human, with lives, emotions, and with that can come stress. Have you ever had to deal with kids repeating, "Are we there yet?" over and over again? Now imagine yourself in the shoes of someone who has to hear that repeatedly. Very similar to, "Are you guys close?", "When is it going to be done?", "Why isn't it here yet?", "Hurry the *&^* up you (*^%*&%)(*!!!?!1?".

By all means, you can wonder what's going on. It's great to be curious. But try asking meaningful questions, like how they are, or how is the development going and what could you do to help with it. Even if it's finding a bug or reaching out to someone you may know that has more knowledge then you in a specific field if they could help. And this isn't just advice for the TTW team specifically though I'm sure they'd appreciate it, but for literally anyone you may care about or have an interest in. Just food for thought. :)

There has been a lot of awesome stuff coming out lately, though. The additional functions JIP LN offers is tremendous!

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone in the team working on 3.0, as I start my next playthru in 2.9.4b :)

Yes, there are some mods

Yes, there are some mods occasionally being updated, but definitely not at the pace they used to be. Also there are Modder dramas and Mod thefts happening that end up halting the production of mods that could be amazing.

Dont get mad at me for saying
Dont get mad at me for saying this but releaseing ttw 3.0 is suicide. The moment it is released almost no mods will be capable of working with it and most modders have already left to other projects so if you truly want to preserve what is left i would say keep 2.9.4b up along side 3.0 otherwise rip mods unless roybatty wants to vonvert basicly everything which i doubt

But there are lots of NV mods that do not break TTW at all. (for instance void's classic overhaul, AWOPNV, JIP's mods and so on.)

so I always welcome 3.1 when it's released. just hope Hermit and void update F4 PA port for NV on somewhere for 3.1. even if there are few modders work on conversions, we can learn how to use geck

I wouldn't worry. with FNC

I wouldn't worry. with FNC right around the corner and TTW and the frontier on the horizon, I think there will be a surge of buzz to attract many modders. hopefully, FNC and TTW aren't released too far apart *fingers crossed*. if two make it out this year and the other at the beginning of next year it should work. the best thing we can do is to try and get some hype going; so tell ya friends families and favourite YouTubers ;) x

When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade! Make life take the lemons back! Do you know who I am? I'm the man whose gonna burn your house down, with the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that'll burn your house down!

Modders come and go it's the

Modders come and go it's the nature of modding.  They do new things and new challenges when they get bored they move on. FO3 to FNV to FO4 etc but many return. Also with the release of the big "game on their own" mods like FNC, TTW, Frontier many will come back to mod them as they add new challenges and rewards. Don't be so pessimistic

If life is but a test, where's the damn answer key?!?!?

I believe the release of 3.x

I believe the release of 3.x , FNC and Frontier will breathe some new life into NV for quite some time to come.

TTW and along with Asurah's

TTW and along with Asurah's reanimation, I don't see the community slowing down at all. There's A LOT of people waiting on TTW, only which maybe 5% even visit this website. Roy I noticed I watched GamerPoets videos on 3.0 and seen the graphics in the CW look much, much much better. What did you guys do? There's no way it's vanilla and if it is, there's still something you guys had to have done? The trees look much sharper for one and Anisotropic filters looks like it's been doubled from it's max.

It's vanilla, I just fix the bugs in the game.

Converting mods is always a chore since many are not made very well to begin with, and gaining permission from some authors is unlikley.

A Quest for Heaven is never gonna happen as the author is against it being converted. And good luck finding any Modder talented enough to be willing to convert Mothership Zeta Crew. That's one of the more difficult mods to convert.

How is the installer

How is the installer programmer doing? I am an experienced .NET Software Architect/Engineer and willing to work on the installer if necessary. Let me know.
