Also thinking about some

Also thinking about some acient refrences, from the greeck and latin myths. Think of people like Ulysses, Ajax, Achilles, etc... For the first time in my entire life that study of greeck and latin is usefull! Never saw that comming!

EDIT You could add somebody in a entire golden room, or a cropse somewhere who is golden and lootable and than that person would be named King Midas...

Or at the oasis you could make a guy a guy standing a pool of water, reaching for some apples above his head but who he cant actually take, Tantalus refrence.

Or you can make 2 guys with some sort of feather gliders, 1 kid and 1 old man, standing on the rivet city fly deck as a Daedalus and Icarus reference.

Or you could add a skeleton somewhere, entirly black, holding a clay pot or something like that, and that pot is slightly open. You name the skeleton Pandora and you have a Box of pandora refrences (Refrence to the moment where pandora release disseases and disasters and stuff like taht on the the world. Would fit perfectly in the fallout universe)

OMG so many great Ideas...

OMG so many great Ideas... Steamboat willey, lmao.

I have been working on something similar, adding random encounters to fast travel. I've figured out how to trigger my script but I can't seem to find a way to call up the destination selected in fast travel.

So far I have made three encounters in there own world spaces...

1: Two robots fighting. I found some sektor and cryax armor on some russian site and gave the armor to two new npc's, made it un-removable and they fight each other (I need some martial arts animations)

2: Optimums Prime: Same Thing, I found some armor, tagged it un-removable then gave him a behemoth mesh and adapted the armor texture to the new mesh. Unfortunately I can't make him transform (yet). He walks to the middle of the world space stops and says "roll out" then walks off of the screen. I would like him to transform after he says roll out but I just don't have the time to make that happen.

3. Crazy Noobs: Just a bunch of NPC set to ignore the PC's existence and be essential. They are all dressed in black ops and MW3 armor infinitely Killing each other.

If I can get some kind of scripting or something going on that remembers your fast travel selection I want to contact rooster teeth and see if they are interested in designing a zany halo/fallout encounter with me.

Indiana Jones The Last

Indiana Jones The Last Crusade: I know this doesn't exactly match up with the film, but oh well. I'd like to see a man with a fedora on the train who punches a guy and knocks him down. Then he'll say "No ticket."

If the Men In Black does come to fruition and show up after completing Zeta DLC, here's the perfect item to give agent J

Still believe some of the wackier vanilla FO3 random encounters could easily be converted to WW Encounters without adding unnecessary fluff to the TTW Base.

I thought about it and I do agree with this, but I would also want to see those things suggested in here, so I thought maybe a TTW optional file called TTW_Wild_Wasteland or something

Agreed.  I love some of these ideas but throwing them in the base game might make people a bit wary.

On a related topic though, had a random idea for an encounter if you happen to be wearing Lincoln's Hat:

(Replace the Panda with a Yao Guai)

I'm curious, is there still going to be a TTW Wild Wasteland Mod in the near future or has this idea been placed far back on the burner?

It's on a temporary hold... I can't find good magazines for explosives and I keep trying gets a bit frustrating, but it gave me time to do other things not to break the surprise but I made a book for TTW by Jax request and I am also making some things to help Senterpat with a project of his own , since I don't know how much they want me to reveal about this things I won't say anything else .

Most team members have other,

Most team members have other, bigger projects going on. Some are even working on personal mods *gasp* as a break from working on TTW. You're more than welcome to jump in and take the reigns on WW, if implemented properly there should be no issue with including it in a future update.

I wouldn't mind doing some WW

I wouldn't mind doing some WW encounters, the problem I have is that even with Gribble help I failed to make a WW for my book mod so I really have no idea how to make WW encounters also I googled A LOT and couldn't find ANY tutorial about how to make WW encounters I guess no one makes those.

CRYTIQUE THE WHINER:

CRYTIQUE THE WHINER:
You encounter a non-hostile Robobrain called "Crytique The Whiner" that complains or comments about certain things in the game. IE:
"Why can't I get a good lay around here? And no it's not because I'm a robot. I've had a few takers every now and then. I'm quite popular, you see. But every time we get to the event, everything goes dark and then a few seconds later the person's standing over me saying "that was good babe". What was good? I don't even remember, because I didn't do anything! Blacking out is boring. What happened to the good old days of sticking the cable into the slot? *Sigh* those were the days." - Commenting on fade-to-black scenes and censorship.
"Do you have any idea how hard it is to get radscorpion poison glands? Killing them isn't the hard part, it's finding them afterward. I swear those things have a tether to hell, because I swear half the time they sink right into the ground when they die! And sometimes they don't even wait for me to kill them! The little ones are the worst, but the big ones, not so much." - Complaining about how radscorpions (particularly the small ones) seem to glitch into the terrain.
"Take my advice, friend. Never give your companions explosives. Of any kind. I had one when I was still a human. Companion that is. I gave my dunderhead of a companion a missile launcher, and... well, you can see the result. Oh and while we're at it, don't try to sneak around with them in tow either. I tried that once with a raider nest... you can see the result." - Complaining about how liberal AIs are with explosives, and how they often wind up killing you instead. Also about how impractical stealth is with a companion.
"Is it just me, or do the robots around here sound a bit more... human than they do back west? No, I don't mean to imply that they have humans inside of them or something, that'd be ridiculous. I just think they must have had higher quality voice modulators here in the capital or something before the bombs fell." - Commenting on the voice difference between FONV robots and FO3 robots.
"One thing I hated back west was how if you stole something from a bad guy, you were considered a bad guy. For example, I took down some powder gangers and thought I'd help myself to their dynamite. Suddenly everyone starts disapproving and stuff, like it gave me some sort of bad karma or something. For stealing from gangsters! Really?! On the other hand, all you had to do to get in people's good graces was kill some feral ghouls. Not that anyone cared anyway since all anyone ever cared about was how well you treated their own group. Say what you want about the capital wasteland but at least everyone has the greater good, or lack thereof, in mind." - Complaining about FONV's whacked way of keeping track of Karma, and how it had little effect overall.
"I heard there was a character just like me in some old pre-war adventure game series. Don't know what it was called, but it had something to do with scrolls or demons or wind or dragons or daggers or arenas or something. There was supposedly this character that ran around and commented on game stuff. Some talking cat or something. How ridiculous. I'm not a cat. Or a lair. Why would they make that comparison?" - Commenting on him being based on Maiq The Lair from TES 3-5 (spoiler: yes he is.)
"Don't you just hate it when people have something large on a table and you try to talk to them, only to wind up touching their oh-so-precious item worth 1 cap and suddenly everyone is against you? Happened to me once. You can see the result." - Commenting on how hyperactive people are, and how annoying it can be when you try to talk to people only to grab their belongings instead.

MY LITTLE BUTTERCUP:

If you ask Cromwell about the outside, if you have WW he will mention that he used to belong to a cult in his youth that worshiped Giddyup Buttercup, until he found the bomb. And you might be attacked by a gang that calls themselves the "Butter Bros" that carry Buttercup toys.

HARVEST:

When you fail a speech challenge, you'll sometimes get the response "You always were a kidder, (playername)" instead of what you'd normally get.

INTERESTING GOAT:

instead of their normal vault/tunnel snakes attire, everyone will be dressed up in various uniforms from NV. Example: Dad will be wearing Big Mountain attire, Stanley will be wearing a deadmoney/BigMT Hazmat suit, Jonas will be wearing powder ganger attire, Amata will be dressed up as Oliver,  Butch will be dressed up like Caesar, Wally Mack will look like Papa Khan, Paul will be dressed up like like Joshua Graham, Christine Kendall will look like a Gomorra prostitute, Freddie Gomez will be dressed up like a boomer, Suzie Mack will be wearing Ultraluxe attire, and finally Mr Brotch will be wearing Ulysses's clothes.
On top of this, the GOAT Answers are all strange, and the question doesn't match what Mr Brotch is asking.

  1. What is James's Favorite Pastime?
    A. Doing experiments on the Vault's Water Purifier
    B. Listening to GNR.
    C. He won't tell me. Just that it involves a stick.
    D. Dancing in the hallway when no one's looking
  2. Suzie Mack walks into the clinic. What do you do?
    A. Grab the chainsaw...
    B. Talk smack about her brother.
    C. Throw some pills at her in the hopes that it does something. It works in Dr Mario...
    D. Talk about the finer points of space exploration in the hopes of boring her away.
  3. Why do you hate deathclaws?
    A. They're too noisy at night.
    B. Death. Claws. Need I saw more?
    C. I never hear them coming. And then I'm dead.
    D. THIS SPACE FOR RENT
  4. What's the best upgrade to you give your cyberdog?
    A. Mine dropping factory
    B. Flamethrower Bark, complete with home cooking instructions.
    C. Chainsaw Teeth.
    D. Tenderizer paws
  5. What is your opinion on the Legion?
    A. Caesar needs a bullet to the head. Like, quickly.
    B. Hey as long as they pay me I don't care.
    C. They make a wicked beef stew.
    D. NCR go Boom. Fun for all. Except the NCR.
  6. This geezer has your sandwich, but ate it. What do you do?
    A. attempt to lock pick him. He might still have the sandwich intact.
    B. Buy a bomb, then blow up the person who sold it to you.
    C. Pew Pew!
    D. Time to go craft some stuff!
  7. [QUESTION REDACTED]
    A. Miniguns are awesome.
    B. Medicine is most certainly a valid skill.
    C. All these caps and nothing to do with it.
    D. You really need to get EVE, if you don't have it already.
  8. What's the most useful skill?
    A. Barter. You're selling your shit all the time so you might as well.
    B. Guns. Need I say why?
    C. Sneak. Because... just because.
    D. Medicine, wait why isn't energy weapons on this list?
  9. How do elephants breath?!
    A. Robotic breath mechanisms.
    B. By constantly consuming air grenades.
    C. Swallowing oxygen pills.
    4. By breaking into chests and sucking the air out.
  10. Who is indesputably the most awesome person in the world, and to who we owe all things awesome and kick-ass?
    A. Rainbow Dash
    B. Chuck Norris
    C. This Inanimate Carbon Rod
    D. Jaxfirehart

Of course, they revert back to their normal vault attire once Escape! starts.

BATTLE OF YOUR BIRTHDAY PARTY:

A sort of "secret" one since it's impossible to get traits (and therefore wild wasteland) before Future Imperfect without mods or console codes. But during your birthday party if you (somehow) have WW you'll get some uninvited guests. Namely...
4 NCR Troopers lead by "GENERAL PEE LOLIVER", 4 Legion Vets lead by "LEGATE LAMEIUS", and Four MKII securitrons. One with with House's face named "MR CONDO", Another with Victor's face named "DEANFEAT", one with Muggy's face named "SIPPY" and one with Yesman's face named "NO-GIRL" and outside there will be a 3 way battle between 4 Outcasts, 4 East Coast Paladins, and 4 Enclave soldiers. Thankfully none of these factions will be hostile to you (but they will to the other vault residents who gain essential status if they don't have it already.) If the vault residents haven't already beaten up all the agitators in 5 real-world minutes, they will spontaneously die.

I'm sad to hear that this is

I'm sad to hear that this is being ignored BUT!  This is more of a little side thing, more focus should be on getting the main mod up and running smoothly.

However not saying that this should be completely ignored I would love to see this added after the mod is nearing its final release and its stable.

For my own 2 cents

What if in the distance of a long stretching mostly undamaged road you spot a car and as you approach the road before you can get close enough the car speeds away and disappears further down the road in a bright light leaving behind a trail of fire.  Perhaps there would be a small license plate where the vehicle disappeared at the end of the trail of fire that says...

Edit:

Had another idea, not for the main mod maybe someone can be this its own thing since the creators want to keep close to vanilla FO3 and NV i assume that means just 1 follower and one robot/dog.  This idea is more for multiple companions.

What if followers who were with you when you left DC get fired but you can meet them somewhere in New Vegas again in the Cafe of Broken Dreams. [ Only the companions that were following you at the time you took the train will be there. ]

Guardian of Forever:

Guardian of Forever:

Basically, a large stone gateway appears out of nowhere.  You enter into the gate, and go to a future version of vault 101: a horrid version where the overseer has foolishly let the enclave in when asked. And they promptly invaded and killed everyone.
Basically, the point here is that you have to escape vault 101... again. Plus, you can acquire the solar scorcher: A powerful energy weapon that recharges, but only in daylight.

In addition to the chance of acquiring the solar scorcher, there's another reward. Once you escape vault 101 for the 2nd time, another gate pops up near bitter springs, and you can use the Guardian of Forever as a fast, if rather inconvenient way to travel to the Mojave and back.

you know, for an incredibly stupid WW encounter, someone should put a video in that plays when you get the library archives... "You wouldn't download a library"

perms:  either a full fireworks display spelling out "Puppettron Made This" anytime a user accesses my content in-game, or just give me credit somewhere.

A half buried car near Primm

A half buried car near Primm with a bunch of sensor modules and scrap electronics in and around it.

From the DARPA Grand Challenge 2004, in reference to the route the cars took.

"Announced in 2002, the first DARPA Grand Challenge was a driverless car competition held on March 13, 2004 in the Mojave Desert region of the United States. The 150 miles (240 km) route followed Interstate 15 from just before Barstow, California to just past the California-Nevada border in Primm."

I've got an idea that I think

I've got an idea that I think would be pretty cool to implement. What if you were to run into a "Marine" in T-45d power armor? Not just any marine, a marine from starcraft. When he notices the PC he will run up to you and ask "How do I get outta this chicken sh*t outfit? The PC will only be able to say I don't know, then he will turn hostile and inject himself with a stimpak, saying "Ahh, that's the stuff"

|CPU - Intel Core i5-4670k @ 4.4GHz| |GPU(s) - EVGA GTX 970| |Motherboard - Gigabyte Z87X-D3H| |CPU cooler - CM Hyper 212 Evo| |16GB Crucial Ballistix Sport XT 1866MHz RAM| |PSU - Corsair TX750| |Case - Cooler Master HAF-X| |Storage - 1TB HDD/256GB SSD|

I have an idea to toss out

I have an idea to toss out there...  A TTW 'Easter Egg'.  pick a room in one of the vaults and put some desks in there with computers on them.  At each terminal sits a skeleton who, like in the "Beru and Own" Nipton WW encounter, bears the name of one of the TTW core team.  Nice little way of "signing their work".

Additionally, while I like some of the suggestions in this thread, many of them are "too damn big".  Think of the WW stuff in FNV...  A skeleton in the fridge, a man next to five balls, uncle owen and beru, etc.,  Nothing voice-acted, heavily scripted, OP, or 'game breaking.  Small, simple, etc.,

Here is a mod that I think

Here is a mod that I think would qualify for this category?

http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49367/?

Squirrels with Pizza poster replacer

My own idea is to have that whacked our chick, Sierra Petrovita, wearing some kind of Nuka Cola bikini and carrying a Nuka Breaker to make a walkthrough in Fallout New Vegas. She could even be wearing Nuka Cola sunglasses? After all she in now in the Mojave where the temperature is hotter. Perhaps when you come out of Doc Mitchell's house she could walk up asking you to help her search for Nucka Cola in the Mojave? Or, she could now say that she has discovered Sunset Sarsaparilla and needs help finding them? Could even lead to a quest.

Restoring the greatest country in the world to its former glory, well, heh heh... Well, that takes time, even for the Enclave.

Whatever drugs you are on,

Whatever drugs you are on, FalloutAddict, I want some.

After that, I want your idea to be made. Because that sounds hilarious.

(Operation: Anchorage, The

(Operation: Anchorage, The guns of Anchorage quest) The paratrooper with a gauss rifle will be Elijah from Dead Money. There will be two crimson dragoons dressed as ghost people.

The firelance encounter is removed, and the alien blaster in the New Vegas encounter is replaced with the firelance.

If you attempt to use the NCR emergency radio in the CW, an NCR trooper may run up a day later, and report in to you, before dying of starvation. It is not possible to save him. If you use it in Operation Anchorage, he may materialise in, before an error sound plays and he dies. His dead body will be found outside the pod. If used in mothership zeta, he can be found in one of the rooms being studied (haven't played zeta yet, so not sure).

This holotape: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Private_contract will have 'head' replaced with 'booty' and the cap amount increased extremely (e.g. 347823478).

(Random location) A dead cazadore with a sign saying 'I thought we were safe!'. (Referring to how cazadores aren't in fallout 3)

(Random location) An undamageable raider with what appears to be a .32 pistol. He will attempt to shoot it, but it will make a clicking sound. He will then question where his ammo was, and then will simply disappear using the Operation: Anchorage animation, leaving the special '.32 pistol' which is a misc item and can be sold for 32 caps.

There will be a pulowski shelter with a skeleton named 'christine' in it, with an explosive collar.

I'm pretty sure you dont have any idea what Wild Wasteland actually is. Because none of what you posted even remotely fit's what the trait does.

Yes, I realise it generally

Yes, I realise it generally refer to pop culture, however that doesn't mean it cannot refer to fallout 3 or other fallout games, or even just nothing at all. For example, the hovering space ship encounter in new vegas did not make a reference to anything at all.
