Brotherhood Of Steel, Lore, T2W Handling

Hi, I am asking about how T2W handles Brotherhood, interaction between DC & NV, AS I Started game in DC being Mr Nice Guy, starting Purifier, etc, but b4 Addams Air Force Base, I got on Train, went to NV, got bashed, woke up 7 years later, apparently .. Then, I started with better stats in Goodsprings, did quests, Grabbed Veronica after, after already finding all 3 dead brotherhood patrols, and the components for bunkers air system. there was no recognition of survivor being a knight of BOS in DC, even if I was wearing my "Lyons Pride Power Armor", close to anything was when elder almost asked how, when I told him I could already use PA, (I mean it was all I was wearing the whole time !!), after finding scouts, fixing Black mountain & Becoming Brotherhood Member in NV.

So After becoming a Member of BOS Hidden Valley, I took Veronica, Eddie back to DC, in which maybe 8 years had past, but some of my previous mutants victims, where still lying around DC Train Stations, plus some New replacements ..

Did Addams Air Force Base, against Enclave, the only thing I got from Veronica was when we were both standing in DC Citadel Courtyard, next to old Lyons, after making me "Grand exhalted poobah of DC Bos, or something", Veronica told me, "you can see, out here, the brotherhood don't exist for these people, etc .."

So my Question is, Is this side of things, scripted responses being looked at, in a newer version, if  there is a thread, sorry I missed it, but is anybody working on better "amalgamation" of FO3 & FONV in T2W in "plot/character" responses & Modified Storyline?

The answer is no. There is no planned feature to include edits to any FNV or FO3 Brotherhood of Steel or any characters related to it besides the ones already in TTW (mostly just making the BOS in the Capital Wasteland be a different faction than the one in the Mojave).

It would be too much work to make it happen and to get audio files for the voices of the NPCs that were edited.

The East and West coast BoS

The East and West coast BoS are not the same and have no communication with each other. The Mojave BoS are isolated also from the Californian BoS. They are also isolated from the Midwest BoS in Chicago. Tying them together would not be lore friendly in the least. While Veronica or Paladin Cross could have some lines, it's not something we plan to do.

OK, Thanks, RoyBatty & Risewild, I thought as much, funny but the Enclave in FONV like Judah Kruger & others, seem to recognise me, even if Arcan Gannon is with me, and then they just start shooting, blowing quest "old Auld Lang Syne", to reunite them before the battle at dam, seeing they die ...

Oh well .... I suppose it's lucky I didn't kill Eddie & Whitley the researcher at Addams Air Force Base, because I had "future" Eddie with me & Veronica, that would have really made a hole in the plot !!, lol

Thanks, RoyBatty, I think it was Factions Reloaded, Kruger had a Legendary Pistol, Colonel Autumns 10mm, nice, but it twigged me to issue, I think/hope ..

I altered Load Order, in next run thru, but what I may do, is a list or doc about completing all the missions in double quick time, I am rapidly coming up with "Path" thru both maps, that completes a lot of main quests & grabs best "legendary weapons" etc, in a "hurry", with minimal risk of death at early levels..

I am worried about "portable Tent" + it's add-ons, clashing with Underwater Home, in NV, because the Teleporter still works on both maps, so if I mark a Locations in DC, I can teleport back to Hoover NV, No Train, Teleport back to DC area,  also I have moved entrance to Underwater Home, to Citadel Courtyard in DC, I can still use Diving suit to "swim", to Hoover Dam, and I was worried about lore .... lol

You're right for 3 and New Vegas. But in 4 Maxson's Brotherhood has communication with the West, to the point where there are cults dedicated to Maxson.

I doubt that the BoS chapter

I doubt that the BoS chapter in  the Mojave has any communication with the East Coast one. The Mojave chapters is isolated by the Elder's choice. It doesn't have contact with anyone.

The Capital Wasteland chapter says they don't have contact with any other chapter either, IIRC. Specially because Elder Lyons would have been branded a traitor for abandoning the BoS creed and ideology.

So if in FO4 they say there is contact, it was most likely after the change of leadership.

Also TTW should not follow FO4 lore, if it is not in the games. Not even Bethesda follows FO3 and FNV lore in FO4. There is no reason for TTW to do that and change the actual games' lore to accommodate FO4. That would be best as a mod .

Risewild, Ok, I suppose I agree with most of that, but, Veronica should still be able to see  Brotherhood signage, dudes in P.A., Talking about the brotherhood in D.C.

If She has a problem at 188, cause you already destroyed the bunker, by arriving there with a "lost patrol" note, they open the door, and find it was a mistake, Veronic "has a go", starts shooting .. She will turn on you, if you casually flip the Bunkers self-destruct switch as well, I have found .. (make sure you mark it for teleport, with "underwater home" transponder, and after you toasted the place, you can go back & Loot it ..!!)

Most companions can get shitty with you, and leave as well, so there is a mechanism of sorts .. it's just I think maybe there should be some recognition, maybe nothing more, No Big additional mod or anything, just a few if/then statements, basically. I don't/wouldn't care if was just text, so long as it tied up story threads hanging in air ....
