All Companions Essential for TTW

Tired of those pesky companions running off and getting pointlessly killed?

This simple mod just flags all of them "essential" so that they are knocked out when overpowered, instead of killed.  (This may cause problems if you have Cassidy in your party and take her to the Van Graff's...)

Was that the original Dogmeat that died?  I don't think I checked for "Dogmeat's Pup" for the "Puppies!" perk.

Had the same thing. Original Dogmeat died.

Always bring a companion or two that is slower than you.
Because you don't need to out run a Deathclaw.
You just need to out run your companions (Just bring a lot of companions in case the Deathclaw is really hungry!).

It's is possible that rl-3 dogmeat and quite possibly fawkes is essential by default but once recruited for the first time become non-essential. Also note that these three are flagged as creatures...dunno if the act the same way as npc human

Well JIP CCC works fine for TTW and you can make your followers essetail with it.

How can I make recruited companions essential without playing hardcore?

Companions are already essential when playing Fallout New Vegas without Hardcore mode on.

Which means this mod is useless unless your playing on Hardcore mode. I'm not sure if the FO 3 compaions are essential or not but I would imagine they are because of how New Vegas handles it.

Yes, the whole point of this mod is because companion AI is so bad that the companions are constantly killing themselves if you are playing hardcore mode. 

Without hardcore mode on, you don't need this mod.

Followers are dying in HC mod

Thanks for this! Finally i can play with HC mod on. With JIP ccc for some reason, followers were dying even if they are marked as essential.

When I last played FO3, I used Essential Followers and Caravans. Does anyone know if the Caravan'ers for FO3 TTW are essential?

If not, I guess I could always console command them

They are not essential in vanilla TTW because TTW tries not to change anything from the vanilla Fallout 3 unless it is a game breaking bug or needs to be changed to accomodate Fallout New Vegas mechanics or style .
